Fiamma Pizzeria has been on my list for months, but hadn’t made it over since I am the only pizza eater in the house. Picked up lasagna last night for my husband and here to tell you it was delicious, perfectly spiced, loads of meat and cheese. They sell sliced pizza at lunch (for me) and sub sandwiches which my husband is now all in for trying after last night’s dinner. Thank you Sergio and Eneida for the local jewel. We will be back!!

Pizza was cooked to perfection in their wood-burning oven, and the toppings were plentiful. They are 14” pies so two of their pizzas fed 4 people with decent appetites easily with a couple of slices to spare. When we ordered it was hot outside so we took it to go, but in the fall I highly recommend sitting outside their location where the music and ambience is on point.

The pizza was delicious! The crust was toasted and perfectly crunchy, and the arugula and prosciutto was fresh. Will definitely be back.

Very good authentic pizza! We drove more than half an hour just to try this place, and it didn’t disappoint. Made fresh to order with quality ingredients. I just wish there were authentic dessert/ ice cream and drink options. Nevertheless, five-star pizza!

This is the real deal!
Finally I can have here in Helotes an authentic Italian pizza, like the ones I grew up eating in my home country. Pizzas are freshly made to order and cooked just for few minutes in the traditional wood burning oven. I already went twice this week.
You have to try it... this is nothing like the super greasy, arthery-clogging, "two to three business day to digest it" kind you get from the common chain companies.
Fiamma pizzeria instead makes them with fresh ingredients and thin crust, just like real pizza is supposed to be.
I love also the fact that this is a food truck so you can eat and socialize sitting outdoor. Well behaved dogs are welcomed. There is also a playground for the kids and outdoor games to play while you are there.

Amazing pizza. Wife says it is one of the best she has ever had. I am originally from south Jersey and grew up eating good pizza. This place definitely ranks up there. I went with my son and ordered the pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and capers and it was delicious. Highly recommended. Best pizza i have had in San Antonio.

I REALLY wanted to like this place, but it was severely disappointing. I knew the prices going in, but maybe I had too high of hopes too. The margharita pizza did not have fresh basil as advertised, they seriously threw dried herbs on after cooking...what authentic place does that?! Also, the tomatoes were cut uneven and mostly too thick. The dough was not cooked through, midway through it was still raw. I expect better of a $25 pizza. Then I got one pepperoni slice just to try their "American" side and wow...there was cheese on less than half the slice and the pepperoni was store bought and thrown on as an afterthought, not cooked (at all). See the pictures where I show how easily it's just plucked off. Again, I wanted to visit this place endlessly instead of driving 30+ minutes to Dough, but nope, NEVER again.

Drove by on the way home today and my wife mentioned we should try the pizza. Dropped her off, went back and ordered the Fiamma (white pizza) and the Mediterranean. Both were finished quickly and the taste was wonderful. Fresh ingredients, light crust, and very flavorful. Will definitely be back to try the other pizzas on the menu

Great authentic wood oven pizza. All natural ingredients. Not as salty as normal big chain pizza. Will definitely return for delicious fresh pizza.

The pizza at Fiamma is the best in San Antonio. Sergio, the owner, makes each pizza personally. The quality is outstanding. We tried 3 pizzas, a pepperoni, 4 formaggi and a margherita. Sorry I only posted 1 picture. We are the others so fast there was nothing left. We will definitely be back.
