My friend and I came for dinner after Comic Con and had a blast. The server was rude as expected and it was hilarious. Should I give them a 1 star since the service is garbage, if they do it on purpose?
I love this place and will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful experience, my wife and I are on honeymoon in San Antonio and had the best time!! We laughed with our waiter, embraced the gimmick and had an awesome time!! The hats are fantastic Thoroughly enjoyed the food also.

Great experience. You are going for the experience. Fun time for a great laugh. If you have thin skin, just stay home. Food is good, but you really are just going there for the fun of it all!

Even though they were rude and cussing you out, the staff was so cool, dancing singing and our waiter and another guy dining acknowledged The massacre that in Buffalo after asking where were were from.

I can not express the level of fun we had at Dick’s! Literally the best time I have had in such a long time!! We went there for my oldest daughter’s 24th birthday and to say it was a blast is an understatement. I’m talking laughing until we couldn’t breathe! We told them it was my daughter’s birthday and boy did they do it up! They have a live band and the lead singer sang to my daughter and even incorporated her name in the song. I mean they are so rude in the nicest funniest way ever! I mean they are actually laughing too at how rude and funny they are. Our waitress Victoria was AMAZING!! She was so funny. The things they say have you dying laughing. But when she brought us our drinks and threw our straws at us and walked away we were laughing so hard. She turned back around and was laughing too! This place is funny and fun! The jokes are flowing all night! It’s such a chill environment! You get to know people around you too, because you want to see what their hats say. And no one knows what their hats say, they just slap a hat on you with something funny on it and everyone around you are laughing. We actually got to know the table next to us because they were celebrating a birthday that night as well and it was just a super fun experience! The food is NOT mediocre! The food is AMAZING!!!! Omg! We was there for the experience. Our first time there and didn’t know the food was going to be so amazing as well. You will not be disappointed and you will walk out of there with your cheeks and stomach hurting from laughing all night! Thank you so much for making our whole families night so much fun. We are all still talking about the experience still. If I could give y’all 10 stars I would!!!

Fun place for tourists with a sense of humor! Located directly on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk. The hosts, wait staff and bartenders are all in on the joke, and you can mess around with them too. Don’t come here if you can’t take a joke, also probably not a place for children/minors. We went directly to the bar, and had fun with the bartender. I’d skip the food next time, just have a drink and move on. (Also the One star reviews are hilarious! Free advertising for Dick’s! Haha)

Was in San Antonio for vacation. Came across this establishment on the River Walk! The “happy hour”sign read from 11:00am-6:00pm. ????????????. The staff was very entertaining. Margaritas were awesome and flowing, very reasonably priced for happy hour. Fried pickles were the best! Everyone in our group got a party hat with a special note ????. Will definitely go back to this restaurant! Hats off to the staff! Fun times!

This was a pretty funny experience! You were told ahead of time what dick’s is all about which is serving rude and with an attitude. They slid the menus at us and went through the specials and told us what was the best drinks and food on the menus then also gave us what was the cheapest in case we were broke then asked very rudely what we wanted and we couldn’t stop laughing to order. They were rude but extremely nice at the same time you could tell they were just playing the part. Even with regular restaurants I haven’t had such a good experience with a waiter. He brought us our drinks & appetizers & made us paper hats with funny quotes on them. Mine said “I thought Dick’s was a male strip club” & again I couldn’t stop laughing and wore the hat my entire time there. The nachos are delicious, just cheesy enough and loaded with shredded bbq brisket. We ordered some mac and cheese with chicken on top and that was delicious too. The meals were also made in a respectful time so we weren’t without food for that long. As we ate we enjoyed watching other waitresses make couples switch dates with other couples and made them converse and make new friends. Other waiters would frequently check on us and ask how the food was and if we wanted anything and also ask us questions about our experience. He made fun of us when we told him that my friend had never had nachos before and went into details about how you could live in Texas and never have nachos . Again the entire experience was one for the book. Eating good food and getting a comedy show is the best form of entertainment. I recommend this place if you’re on the river walk and just want to have a great time with your friends and strangers.
