Honestly, I feel this is the best food and experience i have ever had in any restaurant, ever.
We started with the half pound cajun shrimp basket. I recommend the full pound because you're going to rip through these shrimp like its nothing.
My wife got the Shrimpers Heaven, which came with a few different kinds of shrimp and other goodies. The portion size is good and she said it was a perfect example of what good coconut fried shrimp should taste like.
I got the Shrimp and Crab Boil. It was so good! It came with so much shrimp and a generous amount of crab. I highly recommend the cajun flavor as its otherworldly. Also, let the amazing Garlic Bread that it comes with sit top side down while you eat so it absorbs the insane juices and flavor from the Cajun Shrimp seasoning.
The waitress was awesome. She didn't hesitate to offer a sample of the sweet tea to taste the sweetness before I committed. She explained how the signs work at the table and how she wouldn't bother us unless the right sign was flipped. Overall, from the front of the house to the back, it was my favorite place to eat while on vacation. When you go, if your food and service was only half as good as ours was; you will still walk out happy you went!

We chose to sit outside by the water. What a beautiful relaxed view of the river walk. The food was delicious and the service was great. Very friendly atmosphere. Will go back again when in San Antonio :)

Good food and service. Everything shrimp we had was fantastic. The fried chicken was recommended to me and it was good as well. Don’t expect too much crab and you won’t be disappointed. Otherwise the only issue really in my opinion is the cocktail menu was mostly syrupy fruity drinks which aren’t bad but if that’s not your thing you are out of luck.

Pretty cool experience considering the movie, with all the pictures and memorabilia on the walls. The names of the food plates had us chuckling. This particular location was nice being on the Riverwalk. Staff was friendly. Worth it to at least say we've been.

We came to SA for our anniversary, and wanted something casual for dinner. My husband called at around noon to see if we could make a reservation for that evening at 6:30pm. The girl on the phone told him they didn’t take same day reservations, but that there wasn’t typically a long wait to be seated. When we arrived that night, we had to wait 20 minutes to make it up to the hostess stand. Once at the hostess stand, the hostess told us there would be a 20 minute wait to be seated and served. This was AFTER we already waited 20 minutes to get to the hostess stand. While at the hostess stand, a man even walked up from the back of the line to ask how long the wait would be, and she gave him the same “20 minutes” line without taking into account how long he’d be waiting to GET to her. He’ll be waiting 40 minutes just like we did…
We opted for outdoor seating to cut our wait down to 10 minutes instead of 20, but once we were sat at a table with menus, we sat for another 20 minutes at our table. No one came to check on us, and no drink orders were taken. No one even offered to bring us water. We wound up leaving, and had great service at a different restaurant.
Wishing all of you better luck than we had. Hopefully they’ll at least bring you water.

The shrimp was amazing! The fish was more done than I like. My husband does not like seafood so he opted for the pasta and he liked it!

Birthday dinner with the family. Food was meh, but it was fun. One of the few places that does a Birthday celebration now. Glad there were folks there to serve us. We had a visitor from outside come hang out too. ????

Everything on the menu looked delicious and it was pretty difficult choosing! As always it was pretty packed, but the waiting list process is pretty convenient. You are allowed to see your place in line.
We were fortunate enough to have Shawn as our waiter and he was one of the most outgoing waiters we’ve ever had. He made our first experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. worth the time. The experience at a restaurant goes far beyond what’s sitting on a plate in front of you. Shawn did a phenomenal job making sure we were taken care of and was very informative when we inquired about certain things on the menu. Shawn, if you’re reading this, you’re amazing and Bubba Gump Shrimp is lucky to have you as a waiter!
Highly recommend the chicken breast sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes. The Lava Flow drink with the souvenir cup did not disappoint. Thank you Shawn and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

We had a fun date night last night. This week is a special "Restaurants of the week" event that specific restaurants participate in of providing a special menu for a specific price per person. So, last night, we chose Bubba Gump Shrimp (at the River Walk) as our dinner option. I had Shrimp Mac and cheese for my appetizer, then I had shrimp gumbo, then had Surf and Turf (ribs and grilled shrimp), and last but not least, desert of New York cheesecake. It was delicious! My husband had Salmon (Jenny's surf) for his main course and the rest was the same. The server was sweet and fun. The food was delicious!

Service was great, drinks were weak, food was mediocre. Everything was saltier than I expected. Overpriced food at a great location for and underwhelming experience. Another time that the Landry’s group has disappointed.
