Visited BallHoggs yesterday! I bought the 2 meat plate Brisket and Sausage with a side of beans. The Brisket was amazing! Excellent staff and service! Food was great!!!!

This was our first time eating here and let me tell you it did not disappoint. We all had the brisket grilled cheese. The bread had the perfect crunch. It was oozing yummy cheese and the brisket was tender and juicy! Not only was the food delicious but the staff is awesome. Oh and like that isn't enough..... research the story behind them! It's AMAZING! Oh we will be frequently coming for our BBQ fix.

Made me want to put my throat diagonally into a meat grinder. I would still gag on the different textures among the brisket. Staff was very nice though. Nice establishment.

I do not know how this place is getting good review it’s gotta be a scam! I got a brisket sandwich and one side and lemonade and when you say sandwich it literally a reg slice of bread and room temp slices of brisket like pre cooked “hill county farms brand”. $9 sandwich $3.50 side potato salad non edible and lemon aid for $3. I only drank the lemon aid trashed everything else. DONT COME HERE IF YOU DO YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Everything we had was delicious, ribs 10/10 sausage 10/10 & the potato salad was10/10. I can say with confidence I'll a customer for life!

Place looks pretty cool with the rustic vibe waitress was kind and very polite. The portions were small brisket was over seasoned(very salty) chicken seemed over cooked as well as the sausage.. the Mac and cheese and potatoe salad was perfect.

I recently tried the rib short end. Although it did not fall off the bone, it proved to tender. It did not have the smoked w ood.taste to the meat. The sauce had sweet and spicy taste which complimented the meat. The customer service was great but the food is a little pricey for the quality . Keep working on the wood and this could be a choice bbq

Visited after being invited to a monthly event looking to promote and support small east side businesses. First, I liked that there was ample parking space on both sides of the restaurant. Inside, the restaurant had a kind of cozy rustic, low key atmosphere. The staff were all young but friendly and attentive. I really like that they intentionally employ kids from that area. As for the food, I'm plant based but ordered food for my parents to try. They had asked to try the ribs, turkey and sausage but unfortunately, they were out of ribs and turkey. Parents were a tad disappointed but ordered the sausage and chicken instead. They said the chicken and sausage, as well as the sides (requested potato salad and beans) were pretty good. They're both pretty picky with their bbq, so was pleasantly surprised by their positive review!

This BBQ is amazing. I had the brisket and ribs. The ribs were off the chain. The sides are awesome too. Very friendly and attentive staff. If you want to get away from chain restaurants, I highly recommend this place.
