I went to toasted yolk today with my sorority sisters for brunch. We had a large party but the staff were quick to accommodate us on a Saturday. From start to finish the customer service was EXCELLENT!! Our server, Charles S., the manager, and other staff members made the experience worth while! We even received complimentary donuts. The food and atmosphere was everything. Thank you for accommodating us and making our time at Toasted Yolk a positive and memorable one.

Excellent meal. Had the 1 protein (bacon) + grits and French toast. To start I had a bloody Mary which was spiced just right. Bacon came out well done which is what I requested. French Toast on point along with the grits. Large options to satisfy even the biggest appetites. Friendly service with a smile along with a well coordinated staff.

We came here for a brunch, this was a really good experience. The food is really delicious and big portions, not samples like other places. We had the brisket scramble and brisket tacos I think. I also liked the mocha, it was really sweet, I didn't need to add any sugar. The place is busy on weekend. I would come back here again.

First things first s/o to Gina the GM! The moment Gina learned it was our first time, she immediately stopped what she was doing and brought us complimentary drinks as welcome. Huge s/o to Charles our server as well!
Spaciously designed, The Toasted Yolk has plenty of seating with a patio seating as well. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, not to mention you’ll see the chef & GM constantly floating to ensure the guest experience is up to par.
Food wise, The Toasted Yolk has a plethora of options. Our choices were Granola Apple French Toast, French Toast, & Shrimp and Grits. The Shrimp and Grits are a must try! Grits were cooked to perfection and I don’t say that lightly. The savory bacon and diced tomatoes, offset the bit of spice kick making for an excellent entree. The toasted chips are nice touch for scooping. Portion wise the shrimp and grits is huge, so huge I didn’t even touch my Granola Apple French Toast.
If on the west side of HTX, I definitely recommend pulling up for brunch. We got there kind of early for the brunch crowd, however during our dining it got busier overtime.

Great service, wonderful food, and decent price. This was my first restaurant dine in experience indoors post 'rona' beginnings. I was very pleased with the restaurant set up as well as the large booths that fit me and both of my kids on one side! The staff was very friendly and respectful. The food was some of the best breakfast I have had in Houston! And I have had many breakfasts in this city. Other breakfast chains wish they could do what they have don't here. It's an affordable menu with large portions and now my oldest has enough pancakes for the next 4 mornings. I will be back with each of my friends in the future. Maybe I'll go for the outdoor seating next time just in case it's busy! Spendid.

Great experience! Solomon was my waiter & he was on top of it. With him being new, he did a great job! Food was AMAZING. I had the crawfish Arnold, which is just a special for right now, but I would have it everytime if it were on the normal menu. Atmosphere was great, noise was minimum, and people were friendly. Would recommend. ????

I ordered avocado toasted not know they have cilantro so a bit disappointed. The avocado toast I had before didn't have it until last one I had at Sunday press and here. Next time I need to ask before I ordered!!

If you come to this location request Charde! She made our 1st visit so memorable. She was very kind, attentive & recommended serval dishes! I got the 2 Eggs and a Cake and my friend got Shrimp and Grits. Both dishes were phenomenal! I’ll be back!!!

I've ordered a bunch of things from here from Door Dash but I've never actually visited. It was so good! The waiter Antonio was so sweet, but the sweetest one was the Pumpkin Spice Crepe. So delicious! I couldn't decide whether I wanted a mimosa or coffee so I got both and I still can't decide which one I liked better. They were both great! Definitely going to come here again.
