Excellent food, excellent service! The food was continously refreshed. Everything was hot and fresh. Our table was cleared promptly and water refilled often. The desserts were plentiful and fresh fruit selections were especially nice options. The price for two of us was $27 at 3 pm and worth every single penny.

Food was OK, but I've had much better. However, I have big heart for wait staff. They kept table clean and filled my drink. I prefer to tip in CASH. My check stated the price was 15 something including tax. I saw the tip percents and left $4 in cash. I told the cashier I left gratuity on the table. So, kind of surprised when my card was charged $17.26
I won't be back.

I hadn’t been to Silver Palace in over ten years - and generally don’t do buffets.
I went this weekend for a late lunch on Sunday (almost 2pm) and it was still rather busy.
Things I observed: the food is refreshed often when it’s busy. The kitchen was always bring new, hot pans of food to replenish the buffet. There was a large selection of both American Chinese dishes as well as things like chicken wings, pizza, fries, and potato wedges. Decent cold buffet with fruit, salads, a few sushi rolls (meh) etc, and a pretty extensive dessert station.
The two best things I had were the egg drop soup and the iced tea. Everything else was acceptable for a buffet. Service is mostly limited to seating, drinks, and plate removal, but it was fast and friendly. My tea was kept refilled consistently.
So, decent quality for buffet - but nothing super special that would require a trip from across town for.

Food is really good, some of them are cold but the taste is really good, I recommend this place definitely plus the price 13.99 on Weekends

The building from the outside, and the inside floor look a bit outdated. The food is a mix of American and Chinese cuisine. With a fair amount of food options, it's easy to eat your fill. They focus on meal items more then sweet desserts. The bathrooms are very clean and in my opinion a clean bathroom and fresh food is a great remedy for success. The price is great for $15.14 (dinner) in our current overpriced economy.

I first noticed the cleanliness of the dining room and employees constantly cleaning the buffet serving area. Every time I went to the buffet, at least 3 times, my used plate was removed and my table wiped down. I like that very much! I can't stand looking at used dishes while eating.
I really enjoyed my dinner. Good variety of entrees and all the appetizers you want. If French Steak and Spare Ribs are on the buffet when you visit I recommend trying them! I eat mostly main courses and appetizers so I didn't try the fried rice, noodles, or soup.
I will come back and would recommend it if asked. The price for dinner I think was an exceptional value in a time where prices on eating out have become outrageous.
Glad you survived the pandemic and are open for hungry customers.

The staff girls are on point here. Not sure if family owned very beautiful and friendly. Ther food is delicious. I had 5 plates piled and the ice cream. I'm new to Austin and happy I treated myself to there food.

My wife and I have eaten here on several occasions. Honestly, the food is good but the service has proven to be less than satisfactory on a consistent basis. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve had to literally get up and find a waiter to refill my drink. My wife and I ate here this last Friday and it happened again. What’s frustrating is that our waiter was to busy flirting with a female waiter to attend to paying customers. He was literally looking right at our table and it was obvious that we needed refills on our drinks. But he never once returned to our table. When paying I pointed out how much we were being charged for the drinks and explained what had taken place. You would have thought that they would have at a minimum not charged for the drinks. Nope, she thought it was funny instead. Honestly, there are to many Chinese restaurants with good service to continue going to this restaurant. We’re done with this one! NOT going back.

I havent been to a buffet in over 2 years since the pandemic and choosing this one to be my first was the worst idea.
The place has more seating than food. The place was packed for lunch (noon on a tuesday)
The food was all bland, pale, and not tasty at all. Panda Express fried rice was better than this place.
There was a small roach crawling on the windowsill at my table. So i left immediately.

This Is a good buffet. Better than most. They didn't have a huge selection . But their food was fresh. Different varieties. Not alot of sushi... but still good enough. I recommend this place. And the service was excellent.
