10/10 Try this place out. We read some other reviews that said to try this place out and extremely happy we did. It is a small taco place in a strip center looking area.

The Queso and Chips with added Beef was delicious. Chips were fresh and crunchy, the queso wasn’t spicy but had great taste if you’re a queso lover.

We asked for recommendations and ended up trying the Kogi, Baja Shrimp, Cali Club, Honey Chipotle Rib and the Barbacoa.

We ranked them by which one had the best flavor that we liked the most.

#0 Queso and Chips
#1 Kogi and Honey Chipotle Rib tied for first.
#2 Baja Shrimp
#3 Barbacoa
#4 Cali Club

The Kogi was simple with great flavor, nothing too over powering.

The Honey Chipotle Rib was sweet, jalapeño added good flavor and weren’t spicy at all.

The Baja Shrimp was lightly battered and fresh tasting.

The Cali Club wasn’t bad but was a little hard to eat because it was so large and didn’t have the stand out flavor the others did.

*We did not try any of the sauces that came with the tacos.

Thanks to this little cozy place, I have to go back and retract a star from every taco place I reviewed before since they set the bar so high. The tacos from this place are just fabulous and so tasty! And they are relatively inexpensive also. I suggest definitely trying their Kogi taco as it was so good I ordered another one to take back to my hotel for late snack. I also tried their Caribbean chicken per my waitress’s suggestion. I normally don’t like mixing sweet and salty but oh boy was I proven wrong. It was finger licking good! Don’t let the casual and insignificant look fool you, the food is lit!????

This is one of the best taco places I've ever been to. I ordered the Cali taco and chicken quesadillas and they were amazing. A lot of taco places use small thin tortillas and use too much sauce and dressing, causing the tortilla to get soggy and fall apart. The taco I ordered had no such problems. The only problem I found was that the taco had so much food, it could barely fit in it! The chicken and the sauces were amazing, I absolutely loved it!

First of all, the restaurant is very clean and inviting. I have really enjoyed the experience at Liberty Taco. The flavors and spice in the food is excellent. The spice and flavor of the Taco sauce depending on your taste, is definitely on a perfect level for /vary spicy / to mild and very flavorful. The fusion menu that they have is definitely on point ???? and very flavorful. They also have original taste as well that will definitely stop your cravings. The restaurant has been enjoyable every time I have made a order. Thank you Liberty Taco and staff. See ya next time. ????

The food was great, food was delivered fast, and we made the option of eating outside. Unfortunately, a pair of women made the choice of curbside pickup, and as they waited, they smoked next to us, and their stupid cigarettes ash flew into our food, seeing that it was windy and the weather was really nice. Luckily, we were almost finished, but that really ruined our almost perfect day. If you smoke, please be respectful of others if you want to kill yourself with that nasty habit; do it away from others. We made the choice not to say anything to keep the peace; there's so much hatred and selfishness in the city, and if we said something, my girl would have ripped them a new one. We made the choice to be a better person. There is too much violence in our city with lots of many loving and giving people, except a few that make it hard to enjoy what the city has to offer. It would have been a five-star, but the experience at the end, really ruining our day. We told one of the workers, but they didn't do anything and wish they did, but at the end, the peace was maintained, so we moved on. We will probably go again in a month. The nacho and cheese is really good, highly recommended.

It's alright and they certainly have an interesting variety of taco flavors. However it's definitely not close to competing with an authentic taco place. They're sort of designer tacos that are slightly over priced. The flavors are ok if that's what you're into but it feels like they tried to over engineer the food.
The salsa needs work but the cheese dip was not bad.

I believe tacos should be inexpensive and have a simple but rich flavor. In my opinion, they missed both of those points.

First time at liberty taco today. Love the option to replace tortillas with lettuce wraps. I had the Baja Shrimp Tacos and they were delicious. Food is affordable, service was great, and bathroom was clean. Will be returning!

Got breakfast tacos here and was mostly disappointed.

The bacon was 90% fat. None of the tacos had enough cheese. I’m not even sure they added cheese. The tortillas were just ok, but not homemade like I was hoping.

On a positive note, the chorizo and jalapeño sausage was good. Just wish they had more cheese.

One of the great taco places ever I have been. Employees are so nice and quick specially Holly. I work at Galleria Mall and get my breakfast tacos almost 3 times in a week from here. Potato egg and cheese and brisket egg and cheese are favorite. I would recommend Thai basil and liberty chicken if you are into chicken, also you should definitely try liberty steak and kogi. For appetizer, you should get chips and queso if you are okay for little bit jalapeño. Foods are delicious and great ambiance. Never hesitate to go there.

For the better than average taco ???? packed full of goodness Liberty Taco hits the spot for me. I have been eating here a few years and it's consistent. Today, I tried the chips and queso too. Wow! It was portioned well and the flavor was a mildly spiced poblano cheesy.

I’m trying to understand how this place has over 4 stars on Google.

These were some of the worst tacos I’ve ever eaten in life. All the tacos were cold. The chicken tinga was the driest and most bland taco I’ve ever had. They offer a few hand made tomato or pepper based sauces but that wasn’t enough. I asked an employee for chipotle cream sauce to add to my taco. She said that would be 75 cents. I said that would be fine but she never brought it to me. She was too worried about packing to go orders.

I also think it’s petty to charge a customer 75 cents for sauce when my party of 2 already paid for 5 tacos, chips and queso, 3 beverages, a cookie, and left a tip.

The southwest bean and rice taco was slightly better. The mango salsa made it edible. I still wasn’t satisfied. The description said it came with pinto beans. What I received was more like re-fried black beans… it was so weird. The ratio of beans, rice and other toppings was also off.

The cookie was dry and hard. After one bite we threw it away.

The free filtered water tasted like metal probably from the container that dispenses it. The contaminated taste of the water forced me buy a beverage to wash down the dry food.

One of the employees checked on us, provided tiny containers of their free salsas and was pleasant. One of the younger cashiers was very socially awkward and seemed to have a hard time answering simple questions.

The kitchen area is visible from the restaurant. Every time I asked a cashier for assistance the cooks stopped working and looked at me in a weird way which made me uncomfortable.

The good: the queso was good. The chips were light and flaky but needed salt.

The employees wore masks. They had cool art work. They were not busy when we arrived at 5 pm but did pick up after 6:30 pm.

I do not recommend. Torchy’s Tacos and Velvet Taco are way better.
