Can’t say enough good things about this place and about Chris (owner I believe).
The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD good (I had the ribeye, wife had the flounder). We kept eating even though we were full. Wife got a mocktail, off menu, made on the fly, that was the best she’d ever gotten. The service was outstanding. Tried this place for date night based off OpenTable reviews, and they were above and beyond what we were expecting. It was high end steakhouse quality, delivered in a beautiful ambience, casual/not stuffy, and at a wallet friendly price. 10/10 recommend. Will most definitely be coming back.

FYI it holds its own with Steak 48, 3 forks, Morton’s, Del Frisco, Papas, etc.

Consistency, quality, good flavor. You’d be hard pressed to find a clunker on their menu.

Our waitress was lovely, and the shrimp & grits were possibly the best I’ve ever had, the depth of flavour in the roux was superb.

First vist was Easter Sunday. The waitstaff was fabulous. The hostesses sweet, and the bartender poured like it was his liquor cabinet. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because the food could have been hotter, but it was really good.

The food was great and they accommodated my large party of 10 without a problem. The deviled eggs are a must try. We tried the chicken fried steak and buttermilk fried chicken and both were delicious and the portion size is large. More than enough for leftovers. Also if you try a dessert try the carrot cake that was some of the best I've had a restaurant.

A friend has raved about Frank's as one of her all time favorite places to eat great food for the soul. I now understand why. The service was terrific. Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and not over bearing. The raspberry Moscow mule mocktail was perfection. Deliciously muddled with fresh raspberries that iced in the cocktail exactly how I like it. Oddly this is something most bar tenders can't get right. The crab cakes were divine. Packed with mouth watering large jumbo lump crab meat and tasty flavors to accompany it. A great experience. I look forward to my next visit to Frank's!

Service was great. Very friendly greeting by the host. We ate there for lunch. Sat on the "patio" we were checked on several times by the wait staff. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Their CFS has been rated as one of the best in the city and it did not disappoint. I also had the chocolate tres leches for desert, the flavor is more chocolate cake than tres leches but if you like moist chocolate cake this is definitely the desert for you. My wife had the crab cake salad. She loved it, delicious lump crab cake, mostly crab on a salad. Can't wait to go back!

Update: I haven't been in awhile. I went in December 2020 and the place is the same with the same quality and service. My only update is that that the bartender was not consistent with wearing his face covering over his nose and mouth. At times he was talking to customers, including us, without any covering at all.

Food: A
Ambiance: A
Service: A

I've been dining at Frank's for several years. I like supporting local, family-owned businesses. The bartenders know how to make great, classic drinks. It's a place you want to go when you feel like being treated like a regular and enjoying good food. It's also a great date night place. The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting.

We attended Dan Pastorini's - Be an Angel Dinner in one of the wine rooms. It was a special 7-course dinner, that consisted of such excellent food that it's hard to describe. The portions were perfect, and the staff were polite, attentive, and very kind. This was one of the best evenings we've had in a while. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back.

First visit, loved it. My husband treated me to a birthday dinner. They have a wide variety of dishes but we ordered a couple of comfort classics. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best. I also shared the crispy oyster salad which is one of the best I've had. The cranberry bread pudding was unbelievable, scrumptious. My husband had the chicken pot pie. I highly recommend, come hungry.
