My cousin and I went around 10pm on a Saturday- I’ll start with saying the food was amazing. They had a special of 3lbs of crawfish, 1lb of headless shrimp, 2 potatoes, and a corn for around $45. The waitress “Big Tee” was so sweet and checked on us as she could. The restaurant was very busy so we made sure to order everything we needed at one time since we did not know when we’d get the opportunity again. I would definitely try the place again but on a different night, not so busy.

Had a great time. The service was great. Our waiter Charlie was very attentive and checked on us so many times. The snow crab clusters were large and flavorful. I got the combo flavor. The crab was sweet too. My friend got the shrimp fried rice and it was a lot! I didn’t try it but she liked it. Great cocktail menu. Great RnB music. It is loud so it gives it a hangout/lounge atmosphere in a restaurant but that’s just Houston in general. We were jammin to all the music. But don’t think you’re gonna have a quiet intimate time. We were still able to stay for hours and converse, but the music is loud. The place looked clean. It may seem like a small detail but the water cups come with a plastic cover and when you’re eating messy crab legs, it is much appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend. I will go back.

Once again, I wound up somewhere different than where I originally intended to eat.
And, once again, it was seafood.
This time, I stopped at Fat Crab, and it was excellent!
Three pounds of crawfish and a pound of shrimp, a couple of small potatoes, a boiled egg and some corn, served hot & steaming in a bag.
I was asked if I needed gloves.
Uumm...nope! :D
The next 30 or so minutes were uninterrupted deliciousness.
Yet another fortuitous culinary choice!

3rd times a charm. One of the better crawfish places I’ve tried - So much flavor. The boom spice blend was great but can be overwhelming. I ask for side of melted butter it taste artificial (not needed). The butter takes away from the flavor of the crawfish and leaves a nasty aftertaste. Easily a top favorite. During the week, chill vibes if you dine in. Strong drinks. Good RnB music.
Update- 5/9/22 lower the rating. Nobody answered the phone after calling 3x. Placed an order online. Only to arrive and learn the orders are sent to the boss and was never sent to the store??? Hmm Defeats the online ordering purpose if I have to arrive and replace the order.

The food and hospitality was highly great at this place. Went there twice in one week and received the same welcoming energy with great drinks,food,and nice music. Dre,Ciara and the whole team their was awesome I definitely found my new spot for great seafood and vibes!!

10/10 I use to live in Houston and now every time I come back to visit this is an absolute must stop. The service is 100% on top of it and the food and flavors are second to none. The management is friendly and the staff cares which is rare in the service industry. Boom sauce is a blessing within itself.

My boyfriend and I went inside to sit down and eat, we were sitting down for about 10 minutes and no one came to take our order or acknowledged us. Mind you it is a Monday night at 6:26 and it is not busy at allllllllll! However this sent of women sat down and no more then 2 seconds later the male waiter that seen we were sitting down comes behind them to ask them to take their order. We ended up ordering our food to go because of the horrible service! The first time that I came they got our order wrong, but the food is pretty good, I tried to give them a second chance but I think I’ll stick to my usual spot.

I absolutely loved my first experience @ FatVrab in Houston. Everything was amazing from the food, to the customer service, to the drinks, and the drink specials during happy hour! I had the cajun/garlic butter flavor mixed and it was perfection! The crawfish was BUSSIN BUSSIN like the kids say! Im already ready to go back like tomorrow. Our waiter was Brianna, she is also a manager at this location and I see why she is! She was wonderful and truly contributed to this 5 star review. You have a loyal customer in me from this point forward! Keep up the great work FatCrab. Food, service, atmosphere, music...the whole vibe was EVERYTHING!

Definitely a go to spot for good music, great good, and amazing drinks. Ciara and Dre were so welcoming when my party entered. Our waitress, Shae, was outstanding. She was patient with us and helped us pick out the perfect meal for us. Their customer service throughout the night was amazing. Food was flavored to perfection and I will definitely be back soon with more people. After we ate, we went next door to enjoy Karaoke.

Arrived around 5:30 pm on November 26th. The experience started out weird. We were sat at a booth and some time passed without us being greeted. I walked over to the bar to inquire about how to order. The bartender was very nice. He gave me menu’s and said he would be over to our table soon.
The food was just okay. We had the shrimp rice and tenders. It was bland. I added white pepper salt and soy sauce to mine. The tenders taste like they were made from an actual chicken breast and fried which was good. The rice wasn’t that hot temperature wise. It seems like it cooled down while waiting for the tenders to cook.
The cup they served my water in was dirty.
Decent portion size for the price. I like the R&B music they played but the volume was too loud to have a conversation with the person across from you.
Interesting decor. It was a mix of nautical and Asian influences.
More people started to arrive at 7 pm and it was more of a sports bar vibe

I was not expecting the food to be so good and seasoned so well. When walking in, everyone greets you and ask if you are ordering to go or dining in. I ordered my food to go at the to-go counter. Since it was my first time I always ask questions. Out of season the crawfish are frozen - that would be a no for me. I ordered the Snow crabs and head on shrimp (1lb each) with “The Boom” sauce mild (all flavors mixed). I also got the lemon pepper wings and the cajun wings. (Breaded with flour and seasoning rub) They had music playing and the atmosphere was nice. I waited maybe 15-20mins for my food. The waitress that helped me was so nice and personable. The crab legs were meaty and you could taste the seasoning it was cooked in as well as the shrimp. I didn’t really care for the sausage, it was just ok. The wings were crispy and the rub was very good and tasted even better the next day. This place I will visit again as it is so close to my house.

Delicious flavor, great upbeat service, and amazing drinks! The boom sauce it the way to go. I ordered it mild, my boyfriend ordered it medium. The crab cakes are a must. Not you average crab cakes! These are full of crab meat and taste delicious. The gumbo is also good. The flavor is there. We ordered the snow crab claws that cone with potatoes and corn, we ordered sausage to go with it. Our server was friendly and made us feel at home. The atmosphere is layer back and casual. Drinks are strong and taste great. We ordered the Long Island ice tea and a Dos X’s
