Great Italian food with a little Texas flare. The risotto balls are a must for an appetizer. Wine and mixed drink list are good. I had the Texas Sour and was not disappointed. You can’t go wrong with any of the main course options. Lasagna and ravioli were both delicious.

5he red Sauce makes the items! Had it with the Fried Ravioli and the Chicken Parmesan and both were wonderful. The chicken Parmesan easily fed myself and my wife. Great selection of wines by the glass or bottle.

We had a reservation for 11 and it couldnt have gone any smoother, we received excellent service from first contact. The food was excellent and our server Faucian was excellent as well. All around a great experience, will absolutely be back!!

Cavatore is a great Italian food restaurant. We had the best time with our waiter and we loved all the food. The risotto balls and all the desserts are not to miss!

For the price of this dish, the portions were disappointing. I have never ordered mussels with only FOUR on a plate ????. It was good and our server was nice, but I don't see myself returning here.

Fantastic!! The food was extraordinary. The service was top-notch. The atmosphere was icing on the cake. (You need to go when they have a piano player. The lady who played on Friday night was terrific!) A must-do is ordering the Caesar salad! Table side preparation, I mean, that is a show itself, but the salad is incredible.

I wanted to see for myself what the hype was all about. I was going to give them a rating of 1 star, but the service at the bar was good, so I upgraded them to 2 stars. The portions are very small. The pasta was hard/undercooked. The Fettuccine Alfredo sauce was very watery and flavorless. Their so-called famous Insalata de Cesare was wilted and very small for the price. In my opinion, Cavatore is overrated and very pricey!

Italian gem to try. It was our first visit. Had that home feel, staff was attentive. Food was made to order and nothing pre-made definitely try their pizza it was delicious. They have specials just about every day. Enjoy!

Best Italian restaurant in Houston! Caesar’s Salad to die for…made fresh for you at your table. Everything on the menu is delicious, beautiful authentic atmosphere and wonderful service. Recommend highly!

Love love love this place! It’s my favorite Italian restaurant. I’m a creature of habit and always order the same dish (spaghetti bolognese add meatballs) and it’s amazing! The staff is always so wonderful and the atmosphere is great. I’ve been there a few times and they’ve had live music on weekends. Great place for a romantic date night.
