Oh, my. A true taste of Spain in the middle of Houston. The branzino, the steak, everything is absolutely incredible. BCN is short for Barcelona.
In addition to the incredible food, they have mini originals and copies of Picasso’s works as well as other Spanish artists.

Got dinner here several weeks ago on a Saturday night. Recommend making reservations several weeks before. The valet, our waiter, host staff were all very nice. Food and drink was excellent and well worth the price. The emergency exit door could use a fresh paint of coat and the light switch cover next to it could be updated. Overall, I would eat here again.

Pros:
1. Service was good
2. Some dishes were good
Cons:
1. Some dishes were very greasy, I.e. the roast piglet - too greasy we can’t eat it.
2. Portion size: are you kidding about the portion size? I got duck breast and it’s probably 1/3 comparing what’s normally offered at other high end restaurants
2. The interior sucks: at this price level, it’s not about the food itself but the whole experience, including service and interior, everything you see. The restaurant was converted from tan old house and apparently some part of the old house did not get converted yet: the super ugly emergency exit door and the old light switches.
3. Price was too high: as said above - the price did not reflect the small portion size or the improvement needed interior.
All in all, we won’t go back.

BCN is truly a special spot in Houston. The service is attentive without being intrusive. And the food…. Oh my goodness. But first the cocktails, they have taken the simple gin and tonic and elevated it to a work of art. The wine list is all Spanish wines which is interesting. We started with the iberco ham and it was served with perfectly prepared tomato bread. It took me back to Barcelona. The lamb chops were served medium rare and were wonderful as well. The food is outstanding. We finished with a serving of Gypsy’s Arm. It was a cake with cartelized sugar on top and filled with a sort of cream. The evening was absolutely delightful. Make sure to plan ahead as this is a small restaurant and very few tables are available.

Delicious, real and authentic Spanish food. The classic home made flavours and plates but with a touch of modern, new textures and presentations. Great experience. Author Gin Tonics were fantastic to end the dinner.

Our sommelier/bartender Jesus was absolutely incredible -- not only did he give fantastic food and drink suggestions, but he even gave us a tour of the stunning Picasso, Miró, and Dalà works in the restaurant. A must-visit in Houston!

This restaurant is such a classy, but intimate little restaurant in the building of a former home. My friends and I shared the Ibérico with Toast and the Patatas Bravas. They have an extensive wine list categorized by where each wine came from. The food was spectacular! Their Grilled Duck Breast and Roasted Fideo Pasta "Fideuá" were the favorites of the night. We came for a friend's birthday and they graciously let us bring our own cake and sliced it up for us as well. Highly recommend getting a reservation here!

Absolutely ????% amazing! Everything from the service (super attentive) from Lupita and the entire staff. I have never been more impressed throughout the entire experience. When my group walked in, we were greeted immediately with a genuine welcome. The food was fresh and delicious. Each dish was made with the utmost compassion. My cocktail was delightful to cleanse my palette before I engorged myself. I felt like I was in Spain somewhere. Food like this takes pure talent and love.
I do not live in the area and plan to return again.
It was an amazing surprise to have the chef come and talk to my group.
Thank you to the entire staff this evening.
Don't skip over this establishment while in town. Please make reservation at least a three weeks ahead of time. Every single table was turned over quickly.
I had to write this tonight so it was fresh in my mind.

Had a wonderful experience and am extremely pleased with our time!
We came for dinner for my girlfriends birthday and absolutely loved it. The food was beautiful and tasted great, the service was attentive, friendly and respectful, and at the end of the meal the waiter provided a complimentary dessert!
I’ve seen some low rating comments saying that it was really expensive, which I’m not going to say it is cheap by any means, but you are getting an overall experience and a good meal which I would say is worth it for an evening.
Thanks BCN! Look forward to trying out MAD!

I had an amazing dinner at BCN tonight! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the cocktails were tasty and beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the ambience was perfect. Instead of dessert I enjoyed an espresso cocktail. I highly recommend for a date night!
