Nothing crazy nothing special. Just like every other cheese steak in the city. It got 3 stars because they say they're better Pat's and Geno's but that's just not true

Pretty good as far as after hours food in Philly goes it's probably your best option, that said it still doesn't compare to the cheese steaks in AC

We got to finally eat the best Philly Cheesesteaks here and can't wait to go back for more! The customer service was nice and friendly. Customers were helpful with informing us first timers what to get.

Great place to go to if you've never had a cheesesteak before. Best intro I could recommend as a local.
Just make sure you get the toppings you want. Located to the left of the window.
They only give you cheese and onion. The rest is up to you.

24 hour cheesesteak places are a rare find. Went here around 1am in the morning for a bite. They don't take orders over the phone, only from the window. There was a decent amount of people there for 1am, so I had high hopes. The food was ok. I found my steak a little dry and the bread tasted older. BUT, for 1am, it's not bad.

Just picked up a couple of cheese steaks, cheese fries and onion rings. The staff are really nice. Since I picked up multiple steaks the kind of steak was written on the front and the order was packed very neatly. My cheese steak hoagie was delicious and the cheese fries had cheese to the end of the container. Their onion rings were still hot when we got home. Thanks Philip's for a very delicious meal!

Here’s the thing. I really wanted to love this cheesesteak. The roll was really good, perfect amount of whiz, onions done to perfection. But the meat tastes unseasoned. This was my first time so I’ll chalk it up to an oversight, but it was very noticeable. Luckily the amount of whiz I got provided enough salt flavor. I will be back but it missed the fifth star because of that reason.

First time we went the cheese steaks were barely warm it was so disappointing. I've been working in the area and went back a second time to maybe get a fresh cheese steak and that one was cooked properly so it was much more pleasant. It's not the best cheese steak my husband likes them so I'm sure I'll be back.

24/7 cheesesteak destination in South Philly similar to Pat's or Geno's but with better quality and less touristy atmosphere. Thickly sliced and barely chopped beef packs excellent flavor into a smallish portion. Definitely recommend trying them out at least 3 times.

I find Philip's to always be consistent but never the best. Steaks are made to order And again they're always consistently good. The long hots are outstanding and I love their whiz. Fries are good Make sure you order at the other end from the sandwich counter and they are cash only. They have at a tables outside on the curb in the parking lot so you can eat there as well which is a nice touch. Not the best in the city but open 24 hours and always consistently good in a pinch.
