Had a wonderful brunch experience. The bread on the egg Benedict was addictively good. The sauce with the platter was delicious. The mocktail was balanced and refreshing.

Pros: we dined here 3 times and the food is delicious. the flavors keep us coming back. Highly recommend the Falafels, hummus, salmon skewers, shawarma, and Fattoush Salad
Cons: even for NYC, the portion sizes are insanely small especially considering the price point. I still leave hungry after 2 small plates and an entrée.
You get 1 pita the size of your palm to share which is impossible to eat 50% of the hummus with. We always have to order another pita and are charged. The salmon skewers come with 2 and together barely equal the size of a normal salmon fillet. The falafels are amazing but only come with 4 and are the smallest/thinnest falafels (about the size of 3 stacked poker chips)…

This Mediterranean food was delicious. However the portion sizes are too small. The one pita bread with hummus is a real bummer.
Recommend dine in over takeout. Food served warm is much better.

Came here for brunch, was expecting it to be great given the current 4.7 rating but unfortunately a bit of a let down
- Shakshuka: good but definitely not the best in town. Best part of the meal was the flat bread
- lamb burger: also good but the potatoes with spicy ketchup that the burger came with were what made the plate
Next time would try:
- French toast
- chicken pita
Service: 4/5 it took about 40 mins for us to get our 2 dishes and the place was half empty
Food: 4/5 good but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here
Ambiance: 4/5 nothing special, nice that they have outside tables on the sidewalk. On a hot day it’s hot inside so you’re better off sitting outside

Not the typical middle eastern food, their plates are much more interesting to taste. Their bread much perfectly with every appetizer. The overnight lamb and sheep yogurt is on top of a very thin layer of flatbread. The kind of food you won’t be able to imagine until you try it!

Best restaurant I've been to in NYC. Amazing Mediterranean food, everyone is amazing, especially the manager. If you're visiting New York come to Zizi's, you won't regret it. ????????????????
PS: Overnight Lamb in the pic

Not your typical Mediterranean pick. Zizi, is a true gem with quality middle eastern food! I’ve come multiple time and I become a fan of their dishes. They change the menu from time to time, one of the reasons being is maintaining the quality and freshness of the products available in the market.
My favorite items in the menu are:
•crazy baba
•beets
•hummus
•burrata
•chicken and lamb shawarma
•Drink: Taybeh beer
I’ve never had problems being seated, but the place is always busy, I recommend getting a reservation.

Zizi is a delicious mediterranean restaurant in Chelsea.
The owner are Israeli and they named the restaurant after a woman character of the ‘70
Their food is so flavourful and good.
We ordered the bagel, hummus which comes with their very own pita, falafel, grilled salmon and shawarma.
Loved the vibe, enteriors and the whole experience.
I will absolutely go back and dine at Zizi.

Great gem in Chelsea serving delicious middle eastern food. We got a few different appetizers and entrees and split, which was a perfect amount of food four our group. I also highly recommend trying one of the desserts or the cocktails!
