Service was excellent...the owner was warm, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. It's difficult finding restaurants that serve authentic traditional Lebanese dishes....this is the real deal.

If you are looking to host an event in Manhattan this is a hidden gem. After hosting more than 10 amazing events at Yara I had to express my sincere appreciation. The team at Yara is always very accommodating and they make for a seamless experience from start to finish. The well appointed lower level lounge event space is like an escape from the city. The vaulted entrance and open floor plan includes intimate seating areas providing room for 100+ people. The location is convenient for our group with people coming from across the city. With multiple subway lines within half a block, it's easy to get to and find. The diverse food options provide something for every taste preference. Everything is extremally fresh and very flavorful. Thank you Yara!

We booked Yara for our friend’s bridal shower. I have been in contact with the owner via text who had been amazing in coordinating, addressing all our concerns and questions and helped us decorating the semi private dining area with flowers, table for favors and theme matched table cloth (which they did not charge for!). The service was excellent, they were there for our needs and did not push/rush us. Food was delicious. Overall an amazing experience and the bridal shower was an absolute hit. I have to say, arranging the event became way easier because of the cooperation and warmth of owner and employees of Yara. Thankful; highly recommend it for events and meals.

10/10 — this place had such a cozy family vibe, for a night it felt like I had escaped the city. Really good food, and incredible hibiscus mocktail. I ended up staying for very long with a friend and there was no rush. I could have sat there for so much longer! We got the mixed grill and it was so good!

I'll tell you what, the quality of the greeting and welcome to a restaurant contributes in no small part to how appetizing the experience is going to turn out to be. The genuine and warm greeting was top class and the food and service just sealed the deal. Great atmosphere, with a peerless mix of dishes to suit every palate. I always go back where I am welcome and Yara is no exception.

Went to this restaurant because lucky for me they are open all day and not just for dinner on a Saturday! What a find! The staff was terrific....absolutely friendly and welcoming! The food, even better. We shared the salad and the humus, and even the simplest thing was great. For my meal I had the lamb and okra dish, wow, two things I love in one dish, and prepared so very well. The meat just melted in my mouth! My friend had the lamb chops, the meat just fell of the bone, oh, and the flavor... superb! Thank you Yara for a spectacular dining experience! Norman, your restaurant is fantastic!

Amazing food with great service. Food was delicious and very flavorful. We would def return. Bruno our bartender was amazing in making our drinks based on liquor, Season, & Colors. Very creative mixologist!

Very high quality and very delicious food. Very good customer service!! We went at around 4pm on a Sunday, and we believe it was the owner who greeted us, was very lively and treated us very well. Good ambience.
However during checkout, the owner had left, and a different waitress checked us out. The cost of the dishes in the check did not match the price in the menu. When asked, the waitress mentioned that they have new pricing that is still not updated in the paper menu, and would take a week to get updated menu. We were charged almost 30-40% higher than what was in the menu price. (Mix grill platter was $38 on the menu, but we were charged $55) We felt they could have been fair by charging the menu price until the prices are not reflected, or could have been honest upfront by mentioning that the pricing has changed and whatever is in the menu is not accurate.

Beautiful ambience and great food! The prices were quite reasonable for the wonderful service and ambience. Not a wide variety for vegetarians but the dishes we tried were all worth it! Would recommend the cauliflower pita, the vegan kibbe, and their spicy sauce. Their fava beans dish was also delicious.

My wife and I enjoyed delicious Lebanese cuisine. That reminded us beautiful days in Beirut. Mr. Charlie was very kind, thank you.
