I’ve always wanna try their daily special! It’s limited so you have to come very early. The restaurant opens at 11am, and most of the time the special meal will be gone around 11:40am. Anyway, I finally got my special of the day with a house sake! It was amazingly good and of course for a price rage $25, this was awesome!!! The sea food was super fresh and delicious! And with the sake, a perfect match! What a good place for a delicious Japanese cuisine! I’ll visit this place more often!

Came here for my birthday dinner and had such an amazing experience! This restaurant was recommended to me by the Amex concierge team and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! We were a party of 6 and I’ve never had such amazing service in nyc. I can’t wait to come back for omakase soon!

The restaurant is gorgeous and the food overall tasty and well executed, but I have to say it: you guys really need to chill with the salt. I'm not sure why you would want to put salt (and a lot of it too) on sashimi, especially when the other condiments/sauces on it are already quite salty themselves. It was very over seasoned, not pleasant at all.
I also found the place a bit overpriced for the type of service/selection offered.
I did enjoy the service though, and really appreciated our server inviting me to taste various sake samples to help me choose.
The dessert was amazing, both the dorayaki and the mochi ice cream were absolutely delicious.

We enjoyed lunch several times. You should go early if you want Wokuni-Don which is truly amazing and highly recommend.

It has appetizers (edamame, salad, Japan pickles) and Miso soup, 2shrimp tempuras, a satsuma (sweet yam) tempura, and tons of sashimi on the rice.

It’s a very good deal and satisfying!

Clean modern decor, and fresh ingredients, neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Located in Murray hill, few blocks south of Grand Central.

It's one of favorite place for chirashi lunch, they have limited special chirashi (8 a day, or 5, depending on the dish), and other regular chirashi.

Tried the Wokuni chirashi (8 a day) and Kaisen-don, both were good. Comes with miso soup, salad, edamame. Portions were good, price also good for the quality. They also have drink specials, sake and beer.

Amazing appetizers. I love the avocado salmon salad and their skewers. We ordered the wagyu beef and the chicken thigh skewers and the chicken thighs were my personal favorite. Very nice atmosphere, great drinks and great food!

Surprisingly, the fish in our salmon udon did not smell fresh so we had to order backweed noodle soup with shrimp tempura instead. Eel udon was fresh and nice. Service was polite and cooperative as you would expect from a respectable japanese restaurant.

Best spicy tuna roll I’ve ever had. The spicy scallop roll melted in mouth. The food was great, ambiance was very cool, but the service did not match. Wish I could’ve ordered more rolls or another drink but our waiter just never came back to check on us. Would give it another chance though because of how much I enjoyed the food.

A really great spot for some good quality sushi. The staff are super friendly. I’ve always found it great to sit at the sushi bar and watch them prepare the delicious food! The executive chef looks like he runs a tight ship and is always ensuring quality and presentation of what goes out! Great job! If you like eel, the uzaku is excellent! Make sure to bring proof of vaccination to get in!
