Great quality sushi, great chef, we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there.
The only thing is that the restaurant patrons were pretty loud, treated like a $$ sushi restaurant, and not an omakase experience. Also, I am used to the chef explaining the fish origin, how it is prepared, etc., but we barely got that. I thought the soy sauce was saltier than other omakase restaurants.
I would probably prefer to go back to Sushi Nakazawa over Zo, but Sushi Zo was much friendlier to my wallet than Nakazawa. :D

Do not come here if you have a serious allergy especially celiacs.
My girlfriend and I came here because the restaurant told us they could accommodate my girlfriend's gluten allergy (she has celiac). While the chef tried to use the correct soy sauce for my girlfriend's sushi, she still got glutened. Their allergy standards are not high enough to accommodate someone who is sensitive. For $300/person I think it would be reasonable to use tamari for everything to avoid any gluten issues.
I give it two stars because the meal was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Definitely pricey at $300/person with tip, but worth it if you wanna spend the money.

Exceptional omakase. Certainly one of the best in the city. Well-priced, excellent quality. Stellar service. The quality of ingredients was superb. Everything was simply sublime. Highly recommended.

Came here to try a new sushi place in the neighborhood and it has become my new favorite. The fish quality is excellent and the uni was as good as what I’ve had in Japan. I was really surprised. It’s one of the best omakase experiences I’ve had in the city. The courses were very well arranged and the portions were not too big. I was able to enjoy every course without feeling too full at the end. We will definitely be going back.

This place has the best omakase! Its not just good fish but the restaurant is intimate in size and the chefs are very engaging and happily explain things. Have been a few times and will keep coming back.

Omakase was DELICIOUS. Service was excellent as well. Would highly recommend this place. I told the waiter that didn’t like strong tasting seafood and the chef respected my preference and really wowed me. I particularly like the ones with truffle. Yum yum

One of the best sushi I've ever had in my life. Every single piece was made with such care and precision. $200 per person is a bit pricey but it was worth every penny.
