I love a good diner and this one definitely didn’t disappoint! Great food and service! My faves were the sausage and the sweet potato fries!

This is a very nice classical diner. There is a big variety of good food and the staff is really nice. The place looks retro and we didn’t have to spend too much for a good breakfast.

Way too expensive. We were charged 4.50 for a glass of apple juice! After ordering breakfast I ordered tiramisu to go. It was horrible! I will never go there again! 120.00 and not worth it at all! We were so disappointed! This was the tiramisu! Look how she packaged it!

Iconic NYC breakfast diner. Offers better prices than eating at your hotel, with a far better variety. Be sure to try out the Gilbert Gottfried Melt; a fried duck's egg on a toasted marble rye with a slice of melted Emmentaler cheese, topped with a fake parrot's feather.

Great breakfast, good portions. Not ideal if you don’t know what you want though and coffee refills are slow. All the staff are rushing around and questions about the menu are seen as time wasting.
A locals diner that is worth a visit as long as you remember it’s a locals diner.

I spent some time working online here while having a great breakfast. The Wi-Fi was good, fast, and uninterrupted,
I ordered the Spinach and Goat Cheese Omelette (pictured) with Home Fries and a Cheese Danish. It was fantastic. My server, Janet, brought it out hot and it didn't take long. I mention her because she was exceptional in took care of everything I needed.
I definitely look forward to coming here again.

Had their egg white omelette and was very happy with the taste and portion sizes.
Their bakery looks insanely delicious! Their service was fast and good.

A diner is a diner except when it’s so much more then that. The Skylight is a neighborhood favorite and the food is good. Still what makes this place really special are the staff. They are warm, friendly and cheerful! Yes utterly cheerful. That’s what creates just an exquisite taste to the food.

The food was good and tasteful. The service provided by our server Yanet was awesome, I give her a 10 for customer service. Our 3rd time there she wasn’t there and the server was Vicky, she was the complete opposite from Yanet. She made us feel rushed and she wasn’t near as spunky and happy as Yanet, it wasn’t that busy and we had to wait over 10 minutes for a refill of coffee and we were going to order dessert and before we were able to do so she came and handed us the bill without even asking if we were done and she did the same to the table next to us and they weren’t even done eating, we asked her for a 2nd refill of coffee and she told us she had ppl waiting to be seated which btw wasn’t correct because we checked. Overall the place is a good little place to eat just make sure you’re server is not Vicky.
