Ok I’ve been working/going to school in this area for about 5 years now. Why am I just now discovering Omar’s ? The chicken amazing, rice divine, salad delicious !!!! Then to top it off they give you a complimentary baklava. I will be eating from here from now on. I truly enjoyed my lunch and will be coming back :)

Good price, fair service, good location. Best falafel I've had. Also even included a bite of baclava to finish the meal off sweet, which was an unexpected by greatly appreciated touch.

If I could give Omar's 6 stars I would. Easily the very best shawarma in NYC. Worth any inconvenience or wait time. Fresh and delicious. The best!

The food was good, maybe some people
aren’t bothered but all the lights were glitching.
Anyway, not sure what’s special about it because this is my co worker’s no.1 favorite halal food glad I tried it tho.

Everything was very tasty, which is not super common with Mediterranean food in the city. It’s a good casual lunch spot as well as takeout.

This place may look unassuming, but it’s a real gem and bargain in midtown. I ordered the Greek salad, which turned out to be huge, and they did not skimp on the ingredients either. The babaganoush was excellent as well. The service in the dining room was also attentive. Definitely recommend.

I come here once in a while to satisfy my craving. The chicken shawarma pitas are super amazing and I purposely space out my visits so that it feels just as amazing each time I have it. Make sure to add the orange and white sauces to the pita incrementally as you eat it. This is definitely one of the most consistently good lunch options in midtown. The free baklava dessert that comes with each order is also amazing.

It’s a very quiet place to enjoy Mediterranean food. We ordered garden salad which was given with garlic sauce, hot sauce, and tahini. The vegetarian combo was amazing contained- falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, tabouli. Both the garden salad and combo were served with warm pita bread.
We were lucky enough to taste baklava which was amazingly yummy and was on the house!!
I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice environment for dine in. They also offer carry out with cheaper prices for the same dishes. Service is okay.
