Excellent service; great breakfast at a reasonable price and a bright, airy, clean restaurant. It also has the benefit of being close to the New Absolute Laundromat- allowing you to launder your clothes while enjoying your breakfast.

My daughter and I were in NYC for 6 days for her Make a Wish trip. We ate at Murray's twice. It was so delicious. She is obsessed with the waffle topped with ice cream. I loved the chilli fries. The staff are very sweet. Excellent service. Amazing food. Next time I visit, definitely stopping in for a meal!

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and welcomed by staff. Service was quick and speedy and friendly all around and food came out lightning quick. It was pricey though. I had French toast with strawberries, bacon and orange juice. About 26$ for the meal. I went there to burn time before an appointment but the service was so fast I was in and out in 30 minutes or less. I work night shift. I probably would go here before work if I want a hot meal and want it fast. Personally, I like the diner vibe…felt very reminiscent of scenes I’ve seen from movies and tv shows.

Had the two eggs special with home fries & rye toast. You can upgrade to add sausage or bacon so I added sausage, orange juice, & a seltzer (about $20 all together). Food came fast & the service was excellent. I'm not sure of the servers name but she seemed to know all the regulars, I think her name was Kat. Her & all of the other employees went above & beyond. I'm glad I finally stopped in after walking past the last few weeks. Food was tasty & I'm very satisfied with the customer service. MUST come back!

Had a hankering for a turkey club/ triple decker sandwich, so I stopped by on my way home tonight and Murray Hill Diner did not disappoint! Beautifully assembled with crispy bacon, moisttttt slices of turkey, and slices of bread toasted just right and not soggy. Fries were perfect. This normally very mundane sandwich somehow hit the spot and made my day. Service was excellent, booths and tables were spotless clean. Loved that they had partitions set up between booths for social distancing.

I was seated quickly. A busy boy dashed by and placed a glass of water. More than 10 minutes later and no waitress. An older man came in and was pointed to a booth. I watched as he, clad in biking wear, disrobed by two tops and placed his bags across from himself.
As he sat down, a waitress greeted him cheerily and inquired if he wanted "his usual". At this point, I think the gentleman saw the look on my masked face. I, STILL, had no waitress. So, about 12 minutes (and his plates and drinks arrived) later, a waitress took my order (house tea, matzo ball soup, and a side of corned beef hash).
When the tea arrived it was Lipton. Confused, I asked the waitress about the "House blend". She, too, was confused and brought a menu. Only to be surprised by the item listed as "House blend", she informed me that "Lipton" was it. So, what was regular tea?
I ate my soup (oily) and waited for my corned beef hash. When it arrived, it was crisped, CANNED (mushy in the center, under the crust) and moderately warm. I tried it with ketchup, salt and pepper (all on the side, using a dipped fork), nothing helped.
Meanwhile, the gentleman received a refill on his tea and had his meal choice confirmed that he wanted nothing more. Again, he looked over to me (now maskless) and I'm sure read my look.
Eventually, I put my jacket and mask on, picked up my bags and went to the counter. The hostess asked a waiter for my check and he, in turn, called to my waitress. The hostess bore this scene quite well and kept her pleasant demeanor.
Poor service influences the food negatively. Writing this six hours later and the food tastes no better.

This is a brilliant, authentic Diner. We had brekky early on a Sunday. Already busy with lots of customers, very efficient service, bright decor with plenty of room, all the menu choices you'd expect and good value. Highly recommended.

Upon entering the restaurant I was instantly impressed as I was greeted with a hello and I can sit anywhere. I am use to this as I live in upstate NY and my experience here in Manhattan is growing most people keep to themselves. However that is not the case here this is the definition of a mom and pop shop. I was welcomed in and I felt welcomed. When I sat down at the bar table I was handed a water or should I say one was placed infront of me and asked if I would like a menu. I looked over it and asked what he recommended with no recommendations I went with the classic bacon cheese burger with fries ans a baked potato with no pickle. With in 10 minutes I had my order food infront me.... tho I ordered no pickle I did get one However my over all experience was overwhelming so I over looked it as I should it was a great experience and great food.
