Tried the famous baby cauliflower. The edges were nice and crispy and the inside pieces melted in your mouth. The only downside in the bottom section is super oily, but overall it was an excellent light snack. I’ll have to come back and try one of the pitas.

An incredible take on a burger, the immaculate Folded Cheeseburger!
During my trip to New York, I did a little bit of prior research. Thanks to a video by Strictly Dumpling, he recommended having a specific burger from this Israeli spot within the the Chelsea Market. He placed a lot of focus on a specific item on the menu, the Folded Cheeseburger. The concept peaked my interest so I made it a mission to have this burger while in New York.
When we got to Chelsea Market I was quite disappointed as there wasn’t as many interesting spots as I expected. When I finally found Miznon, I was putting a lot of hope into this being amazing, and amazing it was.
Service at this location was great, those in the kitchen and those taking orders were all friendly. The burger did take a little time, but it’s understandable because it’s made extremely fresh and you’ll reap the reward of waiting a couple minutes.
As for the burger, where do I start. It’s served in a Pita that is perfect. i’m usually not a pita guy as the ones I’ve had tend to be quite dry due to the exterior, but this place gets it right. Toppings such as tomato and lettuce are fresh and do not make the burger soggy, and thanks to the shape of the pita, the bottom stores all the juices and best parts of the burger into a juicy final bite. Then the patty; an extremely well-seasoned hefty beef patty that is folded to hold the most melty gooey piece of what I assume is a Mozzarella, it makes for a Burger experience that you’ve never had before.
Overall, come get this burger, I didn’t have the opportunity to try other dishes at this establishment due to my length of the trip, but this burger was a big food moment for me and I think others need to experience this.

I love my Israeli food. This place is no different - good clean food, the kebab was delicious! That being said, there was one fundamental issue with the dish that could be easily solved, and that is the distribution of ingredients. Eating this Pita, I had 3 whole bites of just onion, and quite a few at the end with nothing but soggy pita. The dish could benefit from better arrangement in the pita (even if it's less Instagramable).

My first time trying Israeli food didn’t disappoint. I ordered Lavan pita and it tasted great. The food was really filling (at first I thought I might have to get something else). They have really good vegetarian options. My husband got Lamb kebab. The restaurant doesnt have restrooms but its inside the Chelsea market which has other shops and restrooms. The vibe is great, there’s music and friendly servers. Will return again if I visit NYC.

Had a quick lunch if the Lavan pita (roasted cauliflower and other veggie goodness) and a cold beer.
Super fresh and tasty and a Blue Point lager washed it down well. Fast, efficient service as well.
Order at the counter and grab a seat, first come first serve. Scored a nice table.

Tried out the lamb kebab pita wrap at the Miznon restuarant inside Chelsea market and it was great. The kebab was juicy and very flavorful. The sauce, onion, pickles and tomato just enhanced it. The pita bread was different than the normal Mediterranean one. It was more bread and soaked all the juices.
Loved the ambience of the place. We need to order at counter and they will get the food to you where you sit inside/outside.

I haven’t been here in years and I was excited to get the falafel burger like last time. I guess I forgot how expensive it is. I don’t mind paying $15 for a sandwich/burger but you would think you’d get more than a small pita that doesn’t cover the whole burger, a pickle or two and some tahini (subbed for sour cream). It just really wasn’t worth it when you can get a regular falafel sandwich for half that price (or less) anywhere in the city, that’s just as tasty and comes with onions, tomato, tahini and pickles.Very disappointing. It tasted ok.
Long lines to order but food was cooked fast. Indoor seating a as well as seating around the market. Need to show proof of vaccination if eating inside anywhere here.

I had lamb pita and baby cauliflower. They both tasted great, esp the cauliflower. I like that they give 2 big grilled pepper on the side. They are tasty too. The ambiance is good, more like hippy casual vibe with the music. The food is quite pricy tbh.

Very delicious food. The famous baby cauliflower was sold out but the baked potatoes and slow cooked meat pita was very tasty

Worth the wait. Amazing flavor. Only critique is the price for what you get. The pita is not super filling and would be best to get a side as well. I had the lamb pita and it was delicious and had a nice kick with the spices.
