I’ve been to this place twice now and I’m very confused as to why it isn’t totally packed out because it is absolute ????. Literally too. They take out the blow torch to melt the butter on your filet. The staff are all super friendly. The food is always delicious. It feels like a hidden gem and you should definitely come here and get your French on.

Stopped in for a late dinner last night as I was walking through Manhattan. I had a lovely time. The service was excellent, the food superb, I had the escargot for an appetizer and then followed with the steak frittes. To finish I had the creme brulee and latte. The service was excellent. I think I already said that. But it was. I would go back for sure.

Le Prive hosted a surprise brunch party for 18 guests on a Saturday morning and it couldn’t have gone better. For the weeks leading up to the event they were immediately responsive to emails and helped accommodate multiple requests. On the day of the event, the wait staff was prompt, courteous, and friendly (which was even more impressive given the size of our party). They let us show up before the restaurant opened to choose our location (outside or inside) and decorate it with balloons/happy birthday sign. Plus, I forgot to bring candles for the cake and Le Prive went above and beyond and graciously provided sparklers for a celebratory touch. The cocktail menu is creative and has plenty of options. The food was praised by everyone in attendance. Will definitely be back for a regular meal, and if you’re looking for somewhere to host a large party, Le Prive has to be a top choice

Great customer service last night. Margarita like drink with blood orange was a little bitter. The Hennessey drink was great though!

Lovely French bistro with delicious classic menu. Fine wines and cocktails with excellent service. A very popular dining destination for a weekend brunch. I'll be back to dine again.

Had lunch and dinner here in the same day. Dinner menu has more options. Had mussels and humus for lunch. Mussels ???? are fresh and served with French fries ???? in a hot cup.
For dinner, I started with seared scallop severed with green sauce. Entree were duck breast ???? with delicious side (I though it is sweet potato with corn????) and fried shallot; filet mignon ???? with asparagus + mushrooms ????. Ended with dessert- beignet (sweet fried dough).
All dishes are flavored and yummy. Staffs are friendly and funny.
Recommend it.

I initially went here for the scallops, but came here during brunch time. So I got the hummus, it was enjoyable and comforting to eat. I went back for dinner and ordered the scallops and it was oh so delicious. The sauce was addicting. The Magret de Canard was the best dish of the night. All the ingredients blended so well. Loved it.

Our waiter was impressive and so kind and attentive! It was an experience that our group will remember.
The cheese platter was delicious and they replenished the bread multiple times. I enjoyed the cocktail and the cotes du Rhône wine.
Our group got the duck breast (cooked perfectly), the branzino, and the bouillabaisse (best dish!). The food was impeccable and seasoned well.
Get the dessert! Just do it. You will want it ????

We had brunch with our granddaughters before going to Hamilton. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We got stuck in traffic due to a parade on 5th Avenue and they had no problem changing the time of our reservation. We sat outside in the tented area on a beautiful sunny day. We ordered frites and beignets for sharing. I had the omelete, which was delicious. Granddaughters ordered croque madame, also tasty and my husband had the lamb saucisse, which he enjoyed and would order again. Along with my mimosa it was the perfect brunch on a beautiful October sunday. Definitely would recommend.
