The appetizer was really good. The bread that came with Shakshuka was amazing! The ambience is cute and neat!

But unfortunately I didn't have a great experience here. They seem to be understaffed ---the service was really slow. Besides that, the poached eggs were over hard in both of our Shakshuka orders. We reluctantly asked them if they could redo the eggs, to which we were told that's how they typically make it here. Anyway, they were nice enough to bring a second order which was still only okay. One of the eggs was still overcooked.

The mint / amaretto/ lemonade thing is GREAT!! A must try. All the food is kosher. Reasonable prices. Accommodating staff. Great place for a casual lunch and is right around the corner from lots of theaters, so a good place to hang before or after a show.

1000% recommend. Exceptionally delicious and great prices. Went there with my partner to have lunch during a weekday. They have a great lunch special which includes either a hummus or laffa, and a mazza for 15. You can pick from different varieties of hummus/laffas/mazzas, and the mazzas, which are basically the sides to the dish, are well proportioned. Keep in mind that on top of all these you get tons of pita bread on the side (included in the cost. We ordered the baba ghanoush and falafel mazzas, and two hummus, on with ground beef and one with chicken. DELICIOUS!

Also, we tried the lemonana, which is a frozen, mint-infused lemonade. Also very delicious.

Service is exceptional and everything is very clean (for Hell’s Kitchen this is a major plus). We were on a little bit of a rush and service was quick and smooth.

Thanks for such a great experience and delicious food. 100% recommend and will come back!

Went in during Passover weekend so they’re were short staffed but thank gosh we got seated at a table. We had to wait a while to order & get our food but wow when the food came it was worth the wait! My hummus with chicken was delicious, I especially liked the stuffed grape leaves, cauliflower, and chicken couscous platter! Staff were busy but nice. Will be coming back!

It's fun exploring the city and discovering little out-of-the-way gems like this place. It's a Mediterranean-Kosher Mexican mix kinda place. They have 2 locations (Upper Eastside and Hell's Kitchen) and i went to the one on HK for lunch. Tiny little place but very charming. They have quite a large-ish menu for a small place. Brunch items, salads, apps, different kinds of Shakshuka, Mazze, Laffa and of course, Hummus. I had the Moroccan Laffa which had roasted chicken, hummus, lettuce, mild harissa sauce, chopped salad and parsley. Yummy and very filling. Worth coming back to and soon.
Like any other restaurant in NYC, you will need proof of vaccination with ID. Mask up when interacting with staff. Plexiglass dividers between tables.

I was in town visiting my sister and craving Mediterranean food. We decided to try a place she hadn’t been to, and we made the best decision coming here!! It was phenomenal. We both got the tacos, which are two filled pita pockets with sides of hummus, tahini, baba ghanoush, a tomato/cucumber salad, and pickles. I got chicken shawarma and she got the falafel. They were so delicious! I tried her falafel and it was probably the best falafel I’ve ever had, so I decided to get an order of falafel tacos to bring home as well.

We made a reservation by phone about 30 min prior to arriving on a Saturday night and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food arrived quick and the service was excellent.

Would 100% recommend and I want to go back next time I’m in Manhattan! My sister is excited to have a new go-to place in her neighborhood.
