This is one of the best findings in NYC for breakfast and beyond. I'm so glad to have come and experienced the evolution of diner breakfast, which seems to be disappearing trend. If you haven't had their food yet, get here!

I missed out their Monte Cristo French Toast, but I loved their Honey Butter Pancakes. Their softer texture and slightly sweeter pancakes reminded me of bakeries in Asia. I was tempted by optional Berry Compote by the look, but I went for the basic version and I didn't regret it. Pancakes were rich, but not dense and easier to finish it; I think I got to notice its unique characters more with the basic version. I wish I had a cup of bitter coffee with them, but it was too hot when I visited.

I also recommend walking around Two Bridge area before your visit. I thought the contrast of the diner to the neighborhood made this place special, as well as Asian twists to their standard diner foundation.

Matzo ball soup and quesadilla were way too salty I couldn’t finish them. The matcha cake was delicious. Thai iced tea cake was a great idea but not something I’d eat again.

Overall great service and nice atmosphere, would come here for drinks instead of food.

Friendly staff even though there is usually a wait; but definitely worth it. Their breakfast sando is one of the only egg dishes anywhere I’ll eat. And the match coffee cake is perfectly mild in terms of sweetness but still flavourful. Pancakes are an indulgence, but if you’re a fan, you’ll love them.

Looking for a brunch spot and this place came up. They do not take reservations. The diner was busy and the cooks were on top of it.

Decided to order some drinks. Golden punch and screwdriver. Both of the drinks were delicious. The diner have few vegetarian options. We went with breakfast burrito. It was delicious as well. Lastly ordered some homemade granola & yogurt. You can tell they are professional when your plate is chilled. That granola was top. Paring with yogurt was delicious.

We would definitely visit again.

Every dish was finger-licking good. I grabbed seats at the bar for a date where we shared the Korean Fried Chicken, the special of the night, and the Chicken Katsu Club. Everything was brimming with flavor and cooked to perfection.

We had a front row seat to the kitchen, which only made us more intrigued to come back and try some of their breakfast options.

I sat at the bar of this small diner and ordered a drink and their prized cheeseburger. The burger was really good. The meat was cooked well and their mushroom sauce gave it a great, nuanced flavor. The buns held the meat together well. It was a tad expensive, but I'm glad I checked it out.

Everything we had from the menu was super delicious! Sad the vegetalian sandwich was out really wanted to try that item too. It was hard to pick a favourite. From a uniqueness perspective, savour options wise the chicken Katsu club sandwich and the mushroom quesadilla were great. The former had a nice mix of crunch and flavors. The latter was mixed with sauerkraut so that balanced the cheese hence not too heavy. The green tea cake was not too sweet which I'm a fan of. The pancakes I thought would taste like Sunday in Brooklyn given the shape except it's much lighter, fluffier and really unique! Feels like it's made from cream cheese so the texture and taste were a bit like Japanese fluffy cheesecake. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. Definitely long wait but so worth it.

Pros: friendly staff, nice outdoor seating, convenient location

Cons: very uninspiring food.

I had the chicken katsu club and it was very mediocre. Much of the flavor came from the over use of Mayo and coleslaw and the chicken was very minimal. The fries also missed the par.

Really good. Really, really good.

My friend invited me to dine here saying it was really popular. When I arrived (5:30 on a Friday evening) it was so unassuming and not very busy so I felt very confused. I was even more confused by the selection of items on the menu and became a little bit skeptical.

The waitress, Daniella, gave me a breakdown of the concept behind the restaurant and informed me I could not go wrong with anything on the menu. After a lot of deliberation, I settled on the Chicken Katsu Club with fries ($21) with a side of kimchi ($4), a bottle of makgeolli ($12), and the green tea coffee cake ($7).

Just a Daniella said, everything was delicious. My skepticism about this little diner-style restaurant completely disappeared and I understood why this place was so popular. I definitely plan to visit again to try more of their menu.

If you are in the area or thinking about it, do it. Totally worth every single bite.
