My love picked this spot for nyc restaurant week. Loved it. Best gumbo I ever had. I asked for Tinys gumbo extra spicy and it was beautiful. It was accompanied by some some wonderful apps. The sausage board was my favorite, my gf enjoyed the cheese spread. We’re saving this to come back soon. But shout out to Tia for being our happy server. Thank you

Nawlins in New York! Gumbo from God and creole hotter than you know where! Tony runs the best bar in Downtown! Run don’t walk when you need to find true American spice! Great dinner - thank you!!

The food tacks on the salt, but lacks depth in flavor. I was so excited to try this place, too. Don’t be afraid of spice!

Went there with friends last night. Great space and absolutely delicious food. I am a huge fan of New Orleans cooking and their spicy all in gumbo was incredible. My friends got other versions of the gumbo and loved them too. I couldn’t help myself and also got a take home order of their fried chicken. Great new place. Looking forward to going back.

We were in the mood for New Orleans and so tried this new place. First, the menu online is not the menu they are using. The menu in place is a bit smaller and missing a few dishes, so don’t get attached before you go. They say their gumbo roux is made days in advance and the flavor is very rich, but overwhelmed by green peppers. It has plenty of andouille and chicken, but it’s hard to get past the green pepper flavor. The fried oysters on the salad were good, but it was a $27 salad which seemed a bit high for what it was. The Bloody Mary was like a mix of a bloody and something with egg whites— very light and not undrinkable, but not what you expect from a Bloody Mary. I don’t recommend the beignets as they were dense and heavy. The place was pretty atmosphere wise but I wouldn’t come back for the food or drinks.

Wow! YO!
I had not eaten all day and was planning on eating a late lunch in Chinatown. Looked up while walking back from my office on Wall Street and boom saw the sign which pulled me in. Strutted to the back of this fly space and asked the chef if he was open. I gauged his body language that they were not, but he smiled and said "yes we are".
I ordered the Tiny's Gumbo and was highly impressed. Lots of flavor, but not as heavy as some very fatty New Orleans style gumbo dishes.
I really enjoyed the conversation with chef LeProphet and owner Eric. They bring positivity and a kind soul that is easy to pickup in no time.

Eric brought me a smoked caramel infused vodka shot to go with the chocolate praline cake which was as equally (and surprisingly) as good as the gumbo. I sipped that and endulged in this cake which had life sized nuts. The cake was not sweet, but the caramel sauce balanced the dish along with the whipped cream, vodka and coffee in French press. I had no coffee that morning, so really enjoyed taking in the atmosphere of the space. They paid attention to details down to large spoons that can cut large shrimp and scrape every last drop of that delectable sauce, full counter drain on the back of the cook top at the bar area and towel space in wall pocket with mirror.
I truly enjoyed the experience and interior design, and especially the conversation.

Went back two days later for an early dinner and had the Green Gumbo with shrimp and chicken. It was fantastic.

Will be back again to try some drinks and other food with friends and family.
Excellent addition to the neighborhood with top notch restaurants like One White Street in Tribeca.
...and by the way LeProphet was on his "off hour" just about to run an errand and canceled his plans for me which I appreciate a lot...
RESPECT!

Best wishes, success and blessings.

Pros:
- Excellent food with deep flavors.
- Trendy setting with super friendly staff.

Mixed:
- The restaurant seems to make your entrees when you order it. I presume the base is done beforehand to get those rich flavors, but they have these neat personal-sized pots where they cook entrees individually. So on one hand, your food is extra delicious. But on the other, it takes a pretty long time. So I'd recommend getting some starters to bridge the wait.

I'll definitely be back!

I've been a fan of Cajun/Creole since I visited NOLA in 2019, but there aren't many places in the city that serve it. I decided to stop by with one of my friends. It was a great experience. Trendy decor makes the place feel a bit upscale but not overly stuffy or formal. Our server was excellent and helped us with recommendations. To drink, we ordered the File Southern Sour and Franklin & Church. Both were refreshing and had complex flavor profiles that went well with the food. We started out with the chargrilled oysters, which were buttery and flavorful. Our main courses were the all-in gumbo (chicken, sausage, shrimp, and crab) and the shrimp & sausage jambalaya. Both entrees were hearty, delicious, and tasted like home-cooked food.

Though all of the drinks and food together made it an expensive night out for us, the consistently superb quality of everything we ordered made it feel like money well spent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try delicious Cajun/Creole-style seafood made with fresh ingredients.

Been waiting for this beautiful spot to open! Love the mustard yellow accent interior which matches with their vibrant flavored dishes.

I was happy to be there for the soft opening yesterday, before 5/23 Grand Opening!

Cocktails - well curated cocktails, I like that they are classics with a twist. I had
"Daq Thyme Is Here" Daiquiri, and "Hot Damn" spicy margarita with a Cajun seasoning salted rim. Both are delicious, looking forward to try more.

Food wise, enjoyed as an app, then Tiny's Gumbo (split-share), Chocolate Praline Cake. Again, all delicious and I was impressed with how their gumbo tastes very homey, slow-cooked from scratch. Had the "All-In" gumbo (chicken, Andouille Sausage, crab and shrimp) - al proteins were cooked perfectly, the shrimp was definitely worth getting my fingers messy!

Very much enjoyed their warm friendly service - don't hesitate to ask recommendations as they are very helpful :)

Love Tribeca and this is a great addition to the area - can't wait for them to start breakfast offering fresh Beignets!
