I had a party of 11, and they were kind and accommodating. There is a nice, bright dining area in the back where we sat. The food was amazing, if you order the pizza, you can probably share it between two people. Octopus and bruschetta appetizer were also great. I will definitely be back!

Walked in on a Thursday night and got seated immediately. The Charred Octopus was a must order, crispy outside yet super tender inside, along with the eggplant purée with pine nut Tahini, this dish was legit. The Rigatoni was amazing too, love the fresh ricotta on top of the pasta. It was yuuuuum! Will totally be back to try the pizzas .

Very good food, perfect service and great atmosphere. Went on a Monday night at 5 pm and it was busy by 6 so be sure to make a reservation. Started with the burrata and prosciutto. Maria is Italian so she is hard to please when it comes to burrata and prosciutto. She LOVED them both as did I. We followed with meatballs. Again I defer to the Italian in the family. She loved them (as did I). Made with veal and pork coarsely ground with great seasonings. Much better than other meatballs we have had. Sauce made out of mushrooms, not tomatoes so that was unexpected but it was really good. You must get both of these dishes. She had the pizza for dinner. Each one is for 1 person of my size or 2 people of her size (see what I did there to get my "marriage points!!! :-) Soft doughy edges but crispy and thin pizza bottom. I think they put the cheese on after the pizza is cooked or it cooks so fast that the cheese does not melt much. Whatever the reason, the flavor is great. She had the Bufalina pizza and we both loved it. Anytime you can get San Marzano tomatoes we STRONGLY urge you to get them in your food. They are the best tasting tomato in the world. Very bright flavor worth searching for. The star of the show was the homemade pasta. I had the rigatoni. Very thick tubes of pasta with a chewy texture that was really great. Super sauce of mushrooms and sweet sausage. Nice size portion as well. Definitely a "must have". Desserts were all great as well and lovely coffee. Back room is large and bright but we wanted the romantic front room. Both are great but front room is better for lovers (again marriage points). Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 7 million views in 2021 and we thank you for that. We don't get paid, we just love to eat. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN.

An absolutely wonderful Italian spot in the Bowery! The vibes are, as they say, immaculate. The first section is a dimly lit bar and table seating area. The back room has natural lighting from the glass panel roof and is great for group or individual seating. The Margherita pizza was the best of its kind I've ever had! I highly recommend a visit!

Strongly recommended. The food and atmosphere was close to perfect. We had kale salad, the octopus, the cacio e pepe, and the seafood tagliatelle. I had two glasses of lambrusco and my friend had a perfectly low-sweet shirley temple. I couldn't find a flaw in any of it. The space itself is perfect for a date, hanging with friends (my case), business meeting, etc. The reasons I didn't give it five stars (perfection) are because the main server could've been a bit more attentive at the outset (and the place was basically empty, so that's no excuse), the table, while setting was nice, had leftover crumbs, and they were a bit strict (we had to order both starters and entrees at the same time; and they were resistant to push a second table toward us to have room for entrees, tho we were still working on starters). But I'll DEFINITELY GO AGAIN (and perhaps make a little fuss, if necessary). (If management is reading this, these are easy fixes). This may be one of my new fave SoHo eateries.

BOMB DOT COM @emporionyc ???????????? ????New York

Had the amazing emporio in little Italy New York, as I was craving Italian food. And my goodness that was an AWESOME meal

They have a really cute courtyard area , seating a bunch of tables that I'm sure would open up during summer months

All the food was rich and flavorful, with an amazing bite & chew.

We got the charred octopus, burrata pizza and rigatoni Alla norcina to share. Everything was spectacular with a the right enthusiasm to brighten things up ie. Pesto and potato salad with the grilled octopus, thinner nyc style crust slabbed with the right amount of homemade pizza sauce & cheese, and of course the homemade sausage & truffle in the pasta

Last but not least, the DESSERT! I've never had a pistachio gelato in my life. And this paired with poached pear in the gooey chocolate cake was just pure gold

And tiramisu as well, both recommended by the waitress. Definitely did not disappoint

What a gem! Accidentally came across this place without any expectations. Boy was I surprised - huge room in the back with a glass ceiling. Intimate light. We had pizza, truffle pasta and steak. Everything was superb. Tastes just like in Italy.

Great atmosphere, close to the trains but the food lacked for me a tiny bit. Great presentation and attentive waitstaff but for the prices of pasta l, ultimately felt heavy and a little uninspired.

But it has lots of outdoor dining and the pizza at the table next to us looked great.

The croquettes (not pictured) were the standout.

Staff: 5/5
Food: 4/5
Ambiance: 5/5

Parpadelle Truffle (Special): 4/5 (flavor was missing something "not as pungent as I had hoped")
Margherita Pizza: 4/5 (quite good, but short of great)

Overall, I would not recommend to a friend and would not come back. Despite friendly staff and pleasant ambiance, there wasn't enough "wow" from the food.
