Had a fantastic experience here, my wife and I went for a NYC honeymoon and had to hit a steakhouse. This menu was the most appealing to me and I'm so happy we chose it. While it was a little hot in the restaurant, everything else was immaculate from the food to the wine to the experience. Our waiter was great, and the manager Albert was awesome. Usually I am not a fan of people coming up to the table and talking to us while dining, but Albert was warm and funny and made us feel super comfortable. He even comped us two glasses of an amazing port. Next time I'm in NY I'll definitely be back, thank you!

Went for the restaurant week special and I’m so glad we got a deal because I don’t think the food we ordered would have been worth what it’s listed on the original menu as. It wasn’t bad but also isn’t a value if you have to pay the prices listed as is and it’s the same quality we received.
I absolutely love nyc steak houses but this one wasn’t up to the standard of greats for me. Everything was OK. We had clams, steak, fries and chicken Parmesan. It’s a beautiful restaurant in appearance though.
The staff kept asking if we were enjoying everything which was nice but this is technically not the definition of fine dining service: It was a bit unorganized. Our table wasn’t cleaned properly between any of the courses, we had and we always had a mix of dirty silverware, plates, empty bottles, etc on our table at all times throughout our 3 course dinner.
It was cute but won’t be back.

Had a delicious medium fillet on a classic Caesar salad.A delicious desert made my afternoon. Service was on point, made me feel like I was coming home. The decor is full of history in the music theater.

I loved my experience at Empire Steakhouse. I came to the restaurant with my friends during Restaurant Week NYC. The staff was very courteous and friendly from beginning to end. Our waiter was Rajo and he was very courteous and attentive to us. Any questions we had he would answer and if we needed something he was close by to help us. I also liked that the Manager or owner went to every table to check in on everyone to make sure everything was okay. We enjoyed the New York Sirloin Steak, the wine, and the dessert. Thank to the whole Empire Steak House staff for this lovely experience.

Let me start off by saying this place is phenomenal!
It was our first time in NYC, and this place was as welcoming as Can be! We came here on our first night and had to come back before we left. We had wagyu on our first night and we LOVED it! We also tried the sesame seared tuna, lobster tail and T-bone steak! Mashed potatoes is incredibly creamy!
The staff was super friendly! Albert made us feel at home. We came back the night before we had to head back home, and again, the staff, food and service was phenomenal.
100% recommended. Will definitely be back!

3.5 STARS - Took long but worth the wait! Food was absolutely delicious! Professional wait staff, elegant decor (white line tables, high-back tufted booths, nice ambiance etc.). Waiter didn’t offer dessert menu, but overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

So the ambiance was excellent when we went for dinner on 12/18. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating until it felt like they got too busy. I understand being busy but the two 10 top takes made my wife and I feel ignored for awhile, but not the end of the world ignored.
My Caesar salad was great and the minestrone soup my wife gave was good. Our filet mignon's were pretty good, sadly not excellent. Not sure how to explain why not excellent, but both the cooks were a little off and I thought the charing a bit heavy for a filet.
One GIANT complaint was the 10 top seated near us, 6 adults and 4 young kids, brought a coughing toddler. The toddler cough all the while he sat there and not one of the staff said or did anything about it. I would've thought in today's world that someone from the staff would've asked that the toddler be taken home. Not that the staff would know what the cough sounded like but I do and a non-productive striderous cough makes me think of 2 different viruses RVS and Covid-19.
I would go back again so I guess if was pretty good after all

Torn on rating, 3.5 on this night. Waitress had to constantly consult on our drink and wine orders. Wife's dirty vodka martini came out with more than just a vermouth rince. The bone-in ribeye was super good, cooked to medium rare perfection. Typical steakhouse sides that are nothing to write home about, the fries were good. Cheesecake was great. Whipped cream side was covered with lemon juice which was not a good addition. Service a bit too attentive, felt rushed sometimes.

We visited here during restaurant week. It was during a weekday and lunch hour so not as much customers in yet. I enjoyed the salmon fillet, as it was seasoned well and the mash potato was creamy and yummy. The cheesecake dessert was great! My waiter was helpful and another gentleman, presumably the manager was very courteous to us, asking if we needed anything else. The interior is beautiful and classic, and the wine cellar display was awesome. I’ll probably be back for a proper dinner and meal!

At first, we went in Restaurant week without any expectations. After we ordered the Sirloin steak, it was so surprised that the steak was tasty and juicy. For the starters and the desserts, we highly recommend the fried calamari and the tiramisu. The 3 courses meal only cost us $50 each+ tips. We
