I don’t normally post reviews, but have to say this was terrible. My wife ordered the bandeja paisa which was 5 pieces of normal luke warm grilled chicken. Regardless of the taste, this is a laughable amount of chicken for $25. The fajita I ordered didn’t come with anything like rice beans or sauce. I would not recommend trying this place.

Awesome menu options. The burger is high quality and comes with fries. The arepas and soups are what will keep me coming back, though.

So I got a response from the owner that justified the corking fee (which I can somewhat accept) and not informing the diners that they already add 18% gratuity. This is where I'm appalled. If the waiter had informed me a gratuity was already added, I would not have written my review. I stand by my remark that this restaurant is very SHADY. BEWARE

I went there with a friend tonight and was quite shocked by a few things that occurred. Firstly, they are fairly new so they don't have a liquor license so they said we could bring our own wine. Then we were told that there is a $15 dollar cork fee. That's a crazy price since they are the ones that can't supply the wine. Then when we got the bill, we realized they had already put an 18% tip. This was only 2 people and had my friend not caught it, we would have left another tip. Very shady practice. While the food was fairly tasty, my friend and I will never come back. BEWARE. They are trying to cheat you!!

Great little place! I ordered takeout from the counter and it was ready very quickly. Their aji sauce is awesome and some of the best rice. Of course delicious empanadas too!

This was our first time trying this place, walked by it a few weeks ago and thought it was a cute little place and we finally decided to give it a try.

We went there for dinner and this was the most disappointing meal I have eaten in the neighborhood. I ordered the arroz con pollo and it clearly had been reheated as it was lukewarm and had cold spots in it. My husband ordered the cazuela de frijoles and it had a similar issue.

This is not somewhere I would recommend nor would I ever go back.

Small hole on the wall place worth visiting. My wife and I had the empanadas and a small Bandeja paisa. The food was good, very well presented, and tasted good. Beef empanada tasted great, and the broccoli and cheese was surprisingly delicious. Staff was friendly and made the 5-star review possible. I'll come back next time I pass by New York for dessert.

Me and my family were excited to have found a Colombian Restaurant near us compared to going to Queens. But it was definitely not what we expected. Food had no flavor, it was not cooked like we asked and the portion was kiddie size. The smoothies did not taste yummy like I'm used to. The meat was too bloody. The area was squeeshy. Price was too high but again it's Manhattan so it did not surprise me as much. To my point, will have to Travel to Queens for better Colombian Food. Gave two ???? because wish this place to be better and soon.

So owner responded today April 12th: Says they are sorry that I did not like their flavorless food and wish that Queens can provide better flavor. Seems that Manhattan is used to non flavor food. Not me. I have live in Manhattan long enough to know which restaurants have Real Flavor for me. I am only sorry that I expected more from a Colombian Restaurant. The price was not much of a surprise since I work in Citi Hall and Live in Manhattan. The location was perfect but the flavorless food was not. Wont be ordering again as the OWNER seems to NOT CARE WHAT WE THINK OR WANT!

Bottom line: delicious Colombian dishes at standard NYC prices. Service on my visit was ridiculously slow.

Gluten line: lots of options, including a plate of 3 different of gluten free breads including pan de bono. Hell yeah!

Long line: overall the place is great. We arrived during happy hour and enjoyed a mojito and caipirinha. We perused the menu and were obviously excited about the bread, and it showed up nice and quick! That's where the fun ended though. We decided we wanted to try the Tostones Cubiertos. Once we ordered that, we noticed that time and time passed (20+ mins) and no one had come to check on us. We had empty water cups and empty drinks. We finally got their attention and ordered another round. Another 15 mins pass and we notice that there aren't that many other people around to warrant so long for the dish. We ask for an update and the gentleman says he'll check. 10 mins later and after walking around the whole place checking on everyone else, he finally goes back into the kitchen and we finally get our dish. Since this all took so long we decided to forgo a 3rd round for fear we'd be done with the food by the time they finally came. Overall there was much to like, but service dropped by the ball midway in a bad way. Maybe they were just short staffed, but the way the staff present acted you'd think nobody had anything important to do.

One of my favorite brunch spots in the upper east side. Food is traditionally Colombian and very delicious. The place recently underwent a renovation. The new design opened up the dinning floor a lot more while still keeping it a small gathering eatery.
I highly recommend the Calentado plate. It’s a savory breakfast dish that includes a bit of everything: egg, arepa, and meat. Of course, you must also try try the Pan de Yucca, which are very mouthwatering.
My only complaint is that they already include the tip in the bill no matter how many people are present. However, I can overlook this because of the amazing food and comfortable atmosphere.
