This is a great old-school diner and not as touristy as the ones nearby. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes are comfort food 101 and the reuben does New York proud. I saw some complaints that this place is pricey, but it is definitely cheaper than some of the others in the neighborhood and the portions are huge. Two people can easily split a plate. I recommend checking this place out.

Made my sandwich exactly how I liked it.
Me and my partner couldn't remember the name of this diner, we visited 1 yr ago, but we vaguely remembered the route. We were so happy to find it again, we sat at the bar area and it's always a good time. The server there, or probably the owner is so much fun. We'll be back !

This was standard diner fair. The staff were friendly and direct as you expect in NYC. It was no frills. The menu was a little pricier then expected but I figured if I was going to spend that much I might as well have steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. It was easy getting a seat here on Sunday for brunch.

Exceptional. A quiet corner diner with well prepared food. Order the cheese cake. I dare you. Visitors, prepare to pay NYC prices.

Classic diner with standard breakfast fare. Everything tasted as expected, except maybe the low quality coffee. Very quick and efficient service.

I wanted to like the place because the location is convenient and the look and feel of it, is quite nice… BUT alas the food is extremely overpriced for the quality and the taste. The hash browns tasted frozen/microwaved and the eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce I’m sure came from a bottle because it tasted bland. To add to a bad food experience the waiter gave us our bill and added the total up wrong causing it to be 20 dollars over charge. It’s a good thing we did the math ourselves and realized he’d overcharged us, but how many people don’t double check or personally add up their total? Most don’t. Check your bill here — TWICE.

Convenient to my hotel I figured it was worth a try.
Decent menu, seated without waiting, and not rushed. Service good. My hub had an omelet that was typical and I had challah French toast also typical price $14. Add on for real maple syrup. Just a regular place with NY prices to relax in while eating breakfast.

The most impressive thing about this place is how awful it was. This is NYC and getting corned beef hash that is on par with a can of dog food should warrant closure of this place. The smell made me unable to eat anything g on the plate including the pre frozen pre made hash browns. Though we were seated quickly, served quickly and by a friendly waiter, the food was terrible. Turkey sausage that tastes like it’s been twice microwaved.
Fortunately our daughter got a good waffle, but my goodness this place is just something else. Even in a pinch, find something else!!

For real, the best pancakes I’ve ever had in a diner! Check it out if you want some comfort food! Ate the food so fast we could hardly get a picture.

Best BLT I’ve ever had! Huge sandwich stuffed with bacon, lettuce and tomato. No sad and greasy portions here. Great value for $10 in NYC. I love how bustling the place is too. Great quality and ambiance.
