Best carrot cake I've eaten, and I've had a lot. The spicy vodka pasta really lived up to the hype, it was amazing, as was the pomodoro, so silky and smooth. The decor is just incredible too, really felt like we were in an old mob movie.

Best meal I've had in my life. The service was outstanding. I got the spicy rigatoni and meatballs and couldn't believe how delicious it was. The rigatoni wasn't too spicy but had a nice kick. For dessert I had the carrot cake and ginger ice-cream.
I really enjoyed sitting out in the patio out front of the restaurant, great space.
Can't wait to go back next time I come to New York!

Honestly, the best part was the “free” appetizer of garlic bread, anti pasta and FRESH MOZZARELLA. I was speechless, it was delicious and a great way to start the experience at this restaurant. Inside is really nice, had an elegant vibe and the China sets on the table are very unique. The servers are so nice and helped my group pick certain things off the menu. The food did take some time to come out but this isn’t fast food, this was all done to order, you could TASTE is. The presentation and taste was worth the wait. My group of three ordered a Caesar salad to share, spicy rigatoni and the veal Parmesan. This place definitely met the hype it receives but I took off one star because it’s difficult to get a reservation and it’s definitely on the higher end of price. Again, just my opinion. I would come back here 100% for a special occasion or for when you want to feel like a superstar :) I highly recommend coming here at least once to experience it because this lovely gem was a complete experience I will never forget!!!!!

It’s worth the hype! IF you can manage to get a reservation, DO IT! The (very) spicy rigatoni is a staple and a must try. My favorite was the veal parmigiana - chefs kiss! I love the vibe in this place. It feels like you’re in a scene from The Godfather. Be careful about the bread they bring out at first. It’s so good and easy to fill up on. Get the Caesar! One of the best I’ve ever had. Oh and the meatballs may not be on the menu but they are a must try.

Unfortunately I found the food to be average at best. I tried everything “must get” and I thought the best was lobster ravioli. Best part of the meal? Bread basket. We were sitting next to the bar and there was a crowd of 15-20 standing in the middle of the restaurant. This place is literally overrated. For how difficult the reservations are to get, I feel the food should also be exquisite. Italian restaurants in the area are a dime a dozen so don’t be disappointed if you “have” to go elsewhere.

First of all, if you can find a reservation here, you are lucky! It only takes reservations out of Resy so you must have this app before trying to seat here.
The most impressive thing around the experience is the way the staff treats you! It is amazing how they are geared towards client retention and 100% satisfaction. Truly amazing.

Everything here is simply amazing and Carbone really lives by the Devil being in the detail. From the fresh mozzarella before your meal to the perfectly crafted cheesecake and everything in between, this is a must-try in the city. The meatballs and rigatoni complemented one another perfectly. Can’t wait to come back.

At first, I was not really into the idea of going to such an expensive restaurant but eventually decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The service was phenomenal, and any questions or concerns that we had were answered right away. Our waiter was very attentive and professional. It was a beautiful atmosphere with lovely music. The food was pretty great too and I had a wonderful time. If you're thinking about this restaurant but are not sure, I'd say definitely go - just to try it out! :)

Honestly very average pasta. You could make it at home for 1/10 the price. We got the special (truffle fettuccine) and it was $75 and it was not that great. The spicy rigatoni was better, but again could be made at home . The carrot cake was a bit dry. The frosting and ice cream that came with it were good.

Food was delicious and service was super friendly. I would’ve given five stars, but there were a few things that disappointed me.
1) Be careful what you order. I ordered a lasagna thinking that it would be a single piece. I was not warned that ordering lasagna means ordering an ENTIRE tray that costs a crazy amount of money. That feels like something you should clarify with your guests?
2) I felt very rushed. Plates were taken away with food still on them. The check came before it was even asked for. It felt like they were trying to turn tables very quickly.
Overall it was a good experience, but could’ve been better.
