Excellent place for brunch!! Loads and loads of quantity, great quality food and excellent drinks.
Highlights; poached eggs with bacon was great, pancakes are Huuuuge and great too. I recommend it for sharing.
Loved the pink lemonade
Low lights; they asked to trash my almost finished take away coffee before sitting..understandable but unnecessary.
Music is a bit loud which makes the communication on the table difficult when you are sitting with several people.

I went for brunch on Sunday around 12 it looked crowded but the line was moving pretty fast. I sat inside and the ambiance was nice. This is a pretty nice place for brunch and lunch. The food was good I ordered the Bubby’s breakfast and it was more than enough for one person. One of my favorite things was the biscuits. This is a must have if you go. There’s the option of refill coffee but it’s more money. Overall, the service was great. The food came out very fast and it was good.

Bubby’s is so good, we went twice in a weekend. The service is friendly, the food is fantastic and the space is great. They don’t take reservations for brunch, but they have lines for indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s a well-oiled machine. The line moves fast.
The first visit I had the sourdough pancakes. They are thin, sour and spongey. The first few bites were delicious, but I don’t need to order it again. (Split some with friends! It’s worth the try.)
My husband ordered the James Beard pancakes with berry compote and they were amazing.
The second visit he ordered the crab cakes Benedict and loved it. I ordered the avocado toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The basil, crushed red pepper and goat cheese crumbled added herbaceous, spicy and tangy dimensions to a basic dish. The fries are phenomenal.
I ordered a loaf of their sourdough to go and it’s not to miss.
Bubby’s is deserving of the accolades.

enjoyed the aesthetics of the place and we had a wonderful waiter but the food wasn't quite up to par. the chicken in the chicken and pancakes had great flavor but was too salty. the eggs in the crab cakes eggs Benedict were overly done (the yolk was cooked all the way). the pancakes were good with the blueberry compote but wasn't anything special without the compote. didn't enjoy the chicken apple sausage. and the apple pie was cold

One of my favorite brunch places in the city and never disappoints. I've been twice so far, but it always proves delicious. We did go on a Sunday, so I'd recommend going early before 10 am to beat the rush. I definitely recommend getting the biscuits at any time of day, they are just amazing. The pancakes with Nutella are also great.

Best brunch from downtown. Excellent food, fresh, best pancakes, good service, fast and efficient, you can't book but there is enough place and good organisation so you will find fast a place. Indoor little bit noisy so if you prefer calm environment stay outside. We recommend at 100% but I reduce to 4 stars because we tried a second time take away and it was disappointing on food quantity and missing goat cheese on avocado toast...

You just can’t go wrong with any order at Bubbys. Be prepared to wait a decent amount of time for a table (1+ hrs) as they don’t take reservations. They’re known for pancakes and big breakfast plates. I’ve only come for brunch but all options are great for any meal time. Family friendly outdoor options! My favorite is the ????

Nice place to have brunch with friends. Close knit; can be a little crowded and loud - overall their food was good. We had the eggs Benedict and they didn’t disappoint. Their pancakes are a must try, only because you need to know what they taste like when they’re that fluffy ! They are also very filling. :) regular drip coffee came with a side of a different type of delicious warm milk , hibiscus tea was refreshing! Service was fast and precise. Will definitely go back again. Also - very close to the pier where you can end with a nice walk overlooking the river.

The wait felt long as it was extremely cold out (~35min) as they do not take reservations on the weekends however the line moved relatively quickly after group conversations and laughter on the line. Gotta love New York! The level of service is phenomenal - the waiter went above and beyond to ensure that we were catered to. The food was scrumptious from the fried chicken to the fluffy pancakes. Our party ordered different dishes so we were able to sample it all from the grits, pancakes, omelets, potatoes, crispy bacon and fried chicken. The servings were huge that we all did not have any room for dessert. The cocoa drink is a must try - so good!!!!!! The waiter found out that we were visiting and insisted to take a group picture in the front of the restaurant for a keepscake ( super sweet gesture). Definitely recommend for brunch as they will not disappoint!!!!

Service is good. Food is amazing. We showed up without a reservation and were seated and served quickly. Always a difficult decision to decide on what plate to get. We had the bacon mac and cheese, hot chicken sandwich (with fries), and the fried chicken and pancakes. The dessert you see in the picture is the key lime pie. Can't wait to try their breakfast and brunch menu next. Definitely recommend!
