Updated review: Whiskey sour with egg white, so hard to find in Manhattan. Great!!!
Love this place, go to spot for our Friday night friend gatherings. There is live music (piano and cello), and it’s super cosy. Good in wintertime too, and I can’t wait for our summer nights. More pics to follow

Can I give it more stars than five!!?? It’s worth the money and every bite is full of flavor. Every dish you order, is unique in its own taste! You can never go wrong ordering the incorrect dish I would say! We went in the group of 12, and had almost ordered every dish! The drinks were okayish but the food amazing!

First timer. Sat inside at a high top table. Robust noise level. Friendly staff. Fast service. Calamari very good. Parmesan french fries were tasteless. Fish tacos very good as were the lamb chops. Nice menu selection. Would go again but would sit outside so it would be easier to have a conversation.

Looked good at face value, and the dishes looked interesting, but tasted just ok. We got the chicken chops, portabella, octopus and beef meatballs. The chicken was probably seasoned the best in my opinion, crunchy on the outside, but moist inside and I loved the artichokes on the side. The meatballs were similar to meatballs you might find from a street vendor. The mushroom didn’t taste seasoned really, and the octopus was decent, but I had mixed feelings about the sweet/spicy sauce it was coated in. The inside looked like a really neat layout, but we ate outside, so maybe that killed some of the experience. Overall it was good, but we expected a little more for what we paid.

I was excited to try this place out since it's full every time I walk past Irving Place. TL;DR I'd classify this as more of a vibe-y bar place rather than a great restaurant, although the food was done well enough even if there wasn't a standout dish.
We ordered several starters including the spinach croquetas, twister fries, haloumi and fried calamari. All were okay, with the fried calamari being the best bar chow-type dish. That and the fries came with generous servings. For the main I had the steak tacos, and again it was fine without being amazing. Price-wise this wasn't bad, but I can see this restaurant being more attractive for their $14-15 cocktails rather than the quality of their food.

Great food here! Service was slow. We had the mezze platter with babaganush, stuffed grape leaves, and taziki. The fish tacos and Margherita flatbread were good and I heard the steak tacos were pretty good too. Sitting outside was really nice, there was a cool breeze which made the heat bearable. The music was loud, but they turned it down eventually. Overall, I’d say this is a place for hanging out and seemed real laid back. One thing I was less happy about was the servers seeming distracted and mixed up of orders on more than one occasion. Hope this helps!

Their food was overall good (except for the octopus). The cauliflower was AMAZING! Coffee martini was good too.

Came here for lunch with a friend. Honestly it was pretty odd experience overall. We must have come around their opening time because it was completely empty indoors and outdoors.
Pros:
- Tasty food
- Spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas
Cons:
- Could’ve been cleaner and more sanitary…(see below)
- Was not a fan of the ambiance - it felt very strange with the restaurant so empty and there was music that blasted from time to time randomly, and when that wasn’t happening, it was completely silent
- Despite not being busy at all, the service was pretty slow - to get the food as well as the bill
We ordered some appetizers to share and my friend ended up trying a handful of their cocktails, but liked the coffee one the most.
For food, we ordered their mezze platter with hummus, babaganoush, and tzatziki. We also ordered the spinach croquettes, and the tzatziki meatballs. All of the food was pretty good - the meatballs were a favorite for sure.
HOWEVER I did notice there was a hair on the plate with the pita bread which was kind of gross and not sanitary whatsoever…
As for the ambiance, it was pretty dark, and there was loud music that kept blasting on and off at random times, which we found to be a bit disruptive.
Maybe these cons were because they were still opening up or because we were the only customers…? Not sure, but sadly, this did not make for a very enjoyable experience.
