Best Spanish food in the hills!!! This is by far the best food in forest hills/rego park! I can definitely count on them for good portions for good prices! The ladies are always sweet and accommodating, just the staff in general is beautiful!

I've been ordering from El Rey over the past 7 years. During those years, a couple of disappointments, over seasoned and dry grilled chicken, stailed or cold rice, oily gorditas, tasteless pulled pork in Cuban sandwiches. Breaded chicken extremely dry and flavorless with an overpowering parsley flavor. Beans are not frijoles de olla, not fresh. Tres leches dessert is not fresh and sweetness is overpowering. They were good at first, decent food with reasonable prices. Over the past two years, they are going downhill. Colombian accent female needs to be more professional with phone service.

I've ordered from El Rey Latino several times and have never been disappointed! The delivery is quick, food is fresh and warm. Always my go-to as their menu has so many options. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Would recommend!

Amazing ! First time ordering from here. The woman on the phone was very clear and patient and I’m very happy she spoke Spanish.
I ordered: 3 veggie tacos with cilantro and onion + avocado, white rice & black beans, and sweet plantain.
My partner got: a steak burrito and a chorizo burrito
Everything was SO tasty and the price was fair. Will definitely be ordering from here again :)

Note that if you do not have a vaccination card, you’ll not be allowed to sit inside and eat.
The place isn’t all that. The food had no seasoning or flavor. The portions aren’t that big, my birra barely had any meat and the consume didn’t have any meat. Wayyy too basic, I rather get chipotle.

My husband and I walked by El Rey Latino many times and we didn’t pay attention to them due to their humble exterior. Their reviews on yelp are also not outstanding but they are one of the most popular restaurants on seamless for delivery.
It’s Cinco de Mayo today so we decided to have Mexican food for dinner. We ordered Bistec Huarache ($10.45), Carne Enchilada Quesadilla ($9.1), Calamari Fritos ($9.9) and 3 Leches Cake ($4.7). We scheduled to have delivery at 6:00pm and they were really on time.
Overall, their food was decent and our favorite was the 3 Leches Cake. It was super creamy, sweet but not greasy at all and will be the reason we order again or visit shortly.
