Food and service are absolutely great. This is my 3rd time visiting and many more visits to go. Quality food for reasonable pricing. Our server was very attentive every time we visited. The puposas are slamming. My man had the surd & turf and I had the astrid bowl again. I just couldn't help myself. The Esquite was one of the best corn apps ever with the tajin and lime omg *drooling*. It is calling my name! Checked on us several times but not in an annoying way. I really like this place and highly recommend. Watermelon mojito was on point and he had the dirty horchata. I want to try the entire menu ????

Went for dinner and it was amazing the service was awesome and the food was good, we went on international women's day and they were giving free margaritas to all women, mine was strawberry and I requested frozen and it was very very good. The picada was delicious.
The one thing I would've loved is to see is at least 1 Salvadorean flag BUT I loved the food LOL

Editing review down after a second visit. I wont be back a third time.

Visited around happy hour and honestly the food isn't very good and the drinks are small and not much kick. Ordered the wings and the fries were cold. I came back for the Coquito from the first visit, its tasty but very small and weak. Girlfriend came back for the shrimp tacos which she loved the first time but this time the tacos were cold.

Wanted to try this Salvadorian place since I can’t find any good Salvadorian restaurants, food was really good and drinks as well, server was beyond perfect, moving everything from our table asking if we need anything, etc etc etc, also they asked you for your vaccination card so don’t forget it, place looks clean and sanitized, the reason why I don’t give them 5 stars is because the space is quite small and they have a extra fee if you use debit/credit card i thought it was gonna be just for credit card but I guess I was wrong ????????

I keep coming back to this restaurant and I live in Brooklyn. So addictive. Always looking forward to every meal experience here. The drinks are also delicious as well. Try the dirty horchata, margarita, beers and pina colada. To top it off the service here is amazing. I will throw my future wedding here. Not joking.

Well my first time going there we dine in everything was good not great as I am salvadorian and definitely had better homemade. Now today was my second time there we ordered for pick up and let me tell you the way they packed my things was horrible everything was tipped over my horchata spilled my salsa was spilled as well and to top it off my corn tamales were definitely under cooked and for 4$ each that was pathetic. Also was missing my sour cream that comes with my tamales just really bad unorganized service today.. I have no doubt in my mind that I will not be returning...

While exploring Astoria to watch champions League, we found this place and since they agreed to change tv channel to soccer we planned to dine in. Just wanted couple of drinks but later ordered few snacks to dry. The food was average, drinks were good but the server was really nice. He made sure everything was ok with us. The place was bit empty but Next time would come to try more of their food menu. Something that I didnt like was they charged for credit card usage. I mean, we are paying taxes already( they had seperate taxes for food and beverage) and on top 3% charge for cc, which I didnt understand why. And on table of 4, 20% gratuity was included, I dnt mind giving the server as he deserved more. They need to change their system of not charging card users, rest all good.

This restaurant does not have private parking, however there is a parking lot right next to it with metered parking, and theres street parking if you are lucky to find it.

The restaurant is small but had a lot of character.

With the pandemic they also have a little bit of outdoor sitting right in front of it.

But they do allow inside dinning.

Our group sat in the back of the restaurant and our waiter was real nice.

He got us our drinks pretty nice and quick and gave us plenty of time to chose our meals.

COCONUT MARGARITA- it looked pretty nice and I got it with a spicy salt on the rim, I must say it looked pretty nice but it was a bit too strong. the cheap tequila overpowered the coconut taste but I managed to finish the drink.

COCONUT MOJITO- I decided to move on to a mojito but also it was pretty strong, so I must say this is a perfect place is you want to come in and get pretty buzzed out of 2 drinks, overall I was ok with the mojito rather than the margarita as I prefer rum over tequila but that is a matter of preference.

PUPURSA REVUELTA- this was a pretty good choice, it does not come with rice and beans but the price is great and it tasted pretty amazing! this was a perfect choice and the size is good for one person, for sure if you are bit hungrier than normal 2 of these and you are all set!

BALEADAS- These look like crepes, and they have some eggs and other things inside, these are also perfect and super affordable! if you get only these it is more than enough for one person as an entree or 2 people for an appetizer! these were pretty good and I would definitely have them again.

Overall we had a great time, the place respected the pandemic social distancing guidelines and the wait staff was wearing masks. they were pretty good at service and super friendly.

The food was pretty nice and very filling, above all delicious.

This is a pretty nice place specially if you like ur drinks strong!
