The place is a gem a pure diamond in the rough
Don’t let the corner shopping strip mall sushi spot look fool you this place is high class pure fresh quality sushi I got in at the crack of dawn when they opened in between dr appointments
I’m so glad I stopped to grab lunch
Amazing food friendly staff
And did I say it’s tasty it is legit a good sushi spot stop in for a meal!!! Can’t wait to come back for a hibachi night ???????? with friends !!

Ordered off of uber eats. Didn't disappoint at all! The food was incredible, and they actually pay attention to the notes if you ask for things on the side! I will definitely order from here more often. I can't believe I didn't know about this place! Highly recommend.

The food here is excellent! Everything here is great from the service, to the dishes, to the ambiance of this place. The PRICES are affordable for most budgets. The food? Absolutely fantastic!
I was going for an Udon (thick noodle) dish, then saw Ramen soup on the menu. I was thinking "Maybe I try REAL Ramen noodles for a change.". Something more than "Just add hot water" Ramen. Glad I did... The freshness of the Ramen noodles was immediately apparent. The noodles just tasted better for starters. The vegetables and meat in the soup looked like it was posing for a food magazine. Just look at the photo accompanying this review. Ain't it pretry? The broth was spicy and overflowing with Japanese flavors. They have a non-spicy version of the dish which I WILL be going back for soon.
For AUTHENTIC Japanese food in New Jersey, i can't think of a place that more effectively represents Japanese food in New Jersey than U-Yee Sushi.

Always a great time here! Start off with some delicious, fresh sushi rolls, and then get down with hibachi-style dinner. If you've done the whole hibachi show before it definitely gets old, but the experience is still awesome! Oh, and always get the garlic noodles, infinitely better than fried rice.

Hibachi has no flavor chicken was still raw the noodles were hard. Kani salad had a weird flavor and has no crabmeat literally all cucumbers and half a stick of crab meat. We told the waitress and they still charged us for it and they said sorry but we cannot take it back. This place used to be good with awesome customer service and now it has gone down hill.

Went for the First time for my sons birthday. Our Hibachi Chef Felix was Funny and Entertaining. Kids and I had a lot of laughs. Definitely ask for him if you go.
They had an extensive Sushi menu. The California tempura one is a good one to try.
Staff was friendly.
Not much Ambience but I would say a good little local spot to go to or if your like be to hop over the bridge from Staten Island.

I haven't been here in years but it was as good as I remember! The drinks were tasty and the sushi was phenomenal. Service was fast and responsive. As you can see, we were pleased with the food!

we've been here a couple of years ago and the experience was good enough that we can remember that we had a good time... which is a good indicator that this place is worth coming back to even if it's a bit above our usual drive... unfortunately we didn't get the same experience on our recent experience... it was just okay... i guess... the drink was forgettable as per my wife... the sushis were just okay... nothing to write home about... the tonkatsu i don't know... the dessert was the same... ????

First time here and it did not disappoint! Service was great and the food was even better. This will definitely be my go-to sushi spot from now on. Everything we got was so fresh and delicious.
