Food was amazing!!! The best Mofongo by far and the garlic sauce is my new favorite sauce. Customer service was excellent. Gustavo was very welcoming and attentive. Beautiful establishment with an impressive decor. Definitely will be back! Highly recommend ????

My husband and I were on a hunt for PR food. We googled and came across Isla Bonita. The second we arrived we knew and felt like we were at home. All the PR decor around the restaurant was so beautiful. We ordered our food and the waitress was nice and very attentive to our needs. Ordered and Alcapurria and a Sorrulito. Both tasted excellent. While we were eating I noticed there were some Cuban decorations as well and even Dominican. I spoke with the gentleman upfront and it ended up being the Owner - Gus! He was awesome and his partner Charlie as well. He told me he is going to be upgrading the menu - there will be a little a bit of all islands. I love this concept. My food came (breaded steak) and so did my husbands ( Mofongo de pernil) and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely be returning and recommending this location. I can't rave enough on what a great experience it was. Beautiful, clean, quick and Food was incredible! What more can you ask for!

OMG!!!!!!!! This was a different experience!!!!! Food is amazing, Very family oriented. I would recommend this is a every Week deal for me….. gotta come out and trying you won’t regret it…..

A lot of PR spots get the arroz con gandules wrong, all dried up. Not this place. Nice inside, clean. And most importantly, delicious food. Good portions for the price as well. Will definitely be coming back.

This food was so good! The service also excellent!!! My family and I were searching for Good Puertorican food and we. Found it! This food was fresh and so dang good. We all ordered something different and all were in food heaven !! The fresh juice is beyond amazing. Everyone should be eating here. My husbands mom was the absolute best at all food Puertorriqueño this restaurant was able to satisfy his craving for food like Mami’s. So glad we found this gem. We will be back. It will be my daughters new go to She is new to New Jersey and she will come here often.
Wish I had taken pictures but honestly I tasted my food and didn’t stop to take photos. I will crave this food Until the next time we visit NJ. It will be our first stop on our next visit!!!

FAST Review.
Food: was delicious. Especially the cheese mofongo. The empanadas were good, but alcapuria left much wanting. The salad was okay, rice and beans were delicious. Coffee was strong, enjoyed it. Enjoyed the pasteles, cuban sandwich and chicharron de pollo.
Ambience: is that of a small restaurant. Pretty open and spacious. They have done well with the space they had.
Service: was quick. The server forgot our maduros. Otherwise, service was really good. She frequently checked if we had everything we need, that we were comfortable. She also came with the check without us having to wait to long.
Time: we got a seat pretty quick, there was just one other family dining in. They had quite a few takeout orders.
The place is cheap. They need to up their prices a little, if they have to survive. When the bill came, my eyes popped out. The server thought that I did not have money to pay, but I was shocked at how cheap it was - had to apologize and explain my reaction. Left nearly half my bill as tip and still felt it was a good deal.

Visit the restaurant for the first time and I have to say is worth the traffic. ???? the food was great especially the Yuca Alcapurria. The price of everything on the menu is very good and fair. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
