Delicious food and great service, but they charge for refills on soda due to "inflation of soda prices," per the signs on the door and on the walls in the restaurant. This is truly tacky. A high quality restaurant would not charge for soda refills (this includes seltzer which is carbonated water and contains no syrup). The cost of syrup is a few cents and does not warrant charging for each refill. They should rethink their unfriendly customer policy.

We had high expectations due to our friends being regulars and having great things to say about this place. We made a reservation for 7:00pm and were seated soon after arriving (off to a good start). We were then rushed to place our order and drinks (red flag). The appetizers arrived quickly and I thought that was good. Then the chef began to do his thing. He made the meal very quickly but in his haste he served someone at the table a steak they didn’t order (red flag)… as we tried eating our food we were rushed through our meal. Literally given the bill right after the chef rolled the cart away. We paid and continued to eat, thinking that like in any other place you can just finish your food and drinks and leave when you’re done. We were then approached by the hostess as soon as our tip was made and we’re asked to get up and move to another table before we finished eating, so that they can seat another group at the hibachi station. Then we were approached by a manager and asked to get up once again. From the time we sat down at 7:05 to the time we were asked to get up and move at 7:55, we had not finished our food or drinks. To make matters worse, we noticed that a larger party sitting across from us at the table were not asked to move, and they were already sitting there when we arrived! They were also done eating and were just having their drinks and talking when we were asked to move and yet they were not asked to do the same. They charge a 3.5% fee for using a card for payment and also charge for soda refills, which you only get two sips of because the cups are filled with ice to the brim!! Oh and they blame charging for soda refills on Covid ????♀️ Really!! Anyway don’t waste your time or money here. Too many other yummy hibachi places for this kind of treatment when we work so hard (as is everyone else) for our money, to be treated this way when we are trying to spend it. Support businesses that appreciate you. This one only cares about getting the next group in and not the customer that is sitting at the table!

This place is amazing! The staff is so friendly, even doing balloon animals for our kids while we finished up our dinner! Food is terrific, would eat here every week if I could!

The only con was waiting past our reservation. But the food was absolutely delicious -both sushi and hibachi. And our chef was hilarious. Nice setting and ton of fun

Top notch quality sushi. We had our go to place before moving to Pearl River and we were on our hunt to find our go to here, and after 4 other places we finally found it! Extremely fresh, generously portioned rolls, delicious seaweed salad and maki rolls (dynamite, spicy tuna, salmon avo are must have). Great lunch special options as well. We now order here weekly and are excited to come back and dine in soon.

Tuna lovers platter and gorilla roll were incredible. Service left a bit to be desired. It took our server almost 20 min to greet us at our table and take initial food and drink orders. I know service industry is wildly short staffed these days but at least come by and make your presence known.

Will never go back!!! The Food (hibachi) was nothing to write home about. Sweet and salty but edible. I would give it 2 stars for the food and the show is a 3.
However, the service and how we were treated was abysmal to say the least. The host essentially made us wait and sat another party ahead of us even though our reservation was an hour earlier. The manager tried to help but didn’t compensate enough to ever consider or recommend them to people we know.
The worst part, they had the nerve to charge us gratuity for the terrible service.

Most definitely the best sushi spot in this area, hands down! Came here with my friend, who always goes there and I totally understand why, the sushi taste amazing! Prices are pretty decent too. The O.M.G (Deep Fried Roll) and U.F.O Roll are EVERYTHING! Great service as well, they're all nice. I've been here twice so far and no complaints really great place with good vibes!! Definitely my new go to sushi spot in this area.

This was a wonderful experience. The place was so packed, we had to wait to be seated. The sushi was excellent, the hot sake was good, and overall the price was not bad. I recommend getting the chef's rolls as they are the most delicious ones. The only down side was that our waiter seem too overwhelm with all the table she had to deal with, but the is understandable with covid and regulations. I will definitely be coming back to Cho Cho San. #sushi #sake #modern #hibachi #entertainment
