We've stopped here twice now and had chicken fried steak, both times very delicious, more food then we can eat,second time our bill seemed to be much higher but I didn't catch it until we were out the door ,other than that everything was great

We walked in and stood there waiting for one of the 3 employees to greet us. Finally after a few minutes the young person at the counter let us know it would be a 10 minute wait before we were seated and at least an hour before our food would be served. We listened to the excuse that the kitchen staff was backed up. We left disappointed and went to the local Pizza Hut where we were promptly greeted, seated and served.

Upon arrival I was greeted with an almost hostile sounding, "Can i help you?". I figured someone coming to a restaurant would like food and a spot to sit. After being seated I was ignored for a full 10 minutes until finally an older staff member asked if I'd ordered yet. She proceeded to take my order in a very hurried manner and when I tried to order a to-go order she quickly took the menu and left. I then was given the wrong dressing for a very sad looking salad... if you don't like aLOT of breading then don't get the frog legs... at least the baked potato was good other than bacon bits instead of real bacon to load it. If you're a trucker I highly recommend going any where else. Make sure you dress classy if you come here or you'll be treated like crud.

Buffet was great. super friendly staff. Very nice inside. The white gravy was a bit bland but everything else was great

First time visiting this establishment, and what a great visit. The restaurant was very clean and fresh looking and the food was very good. The menu had a lot of great offerings, which made it hard to choose from.
Now let's talk service.... From the time we walked in the door until we walked out of the door, all employees were very friendly and made you feel welcome. The table service? Wow Brenna was the best! She was always on top of her game, even though we ran her to death. I would hire her in a minute to work in my business.
Again thank you to all the staff for a very great dining experience.

SUNDAYS ARE BUFFET ONLY! We researched this place and nowhere did it say that. It’s exactly like a nursing home setting. Very bland hospital type food with limited choices. First two plates on the buffet were dirty, my cloth napkin had food on it and the chairs had fingerprints all over them. They don’t clean tables or anything on them between customers, they just change the tablecloth. We could hardly eat so tried to pay (over $28 for 2 of us before tip), couldn’t find our waitress anywhere so got up and found someone to get our ticket. Then was handed our receipt with no pen to sign so back to walking around to find a pen. Just ridiculous. We left hungry and went home and ate.

Recently had a buffet dinner for 75 people celebrating my dad’s life at Rick’s Place. The food was delicious and service was incredible! Rick and his staff went above my expectations—— really appreciated all they did!

Nice atmosphere, clean, quite a mix of locals & travelers of all types. Food was plentiful & delicious...as close to home-cooked as you can get in a restaurant. Serve was slow & many menu items were sold out or not offered near the end of the night, but the selection is still plentiful. Busy clear to close. Speaks for itself.

Rick’s Place Bar and Grill never disappoints! The food is reasonably priced with such large portions. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing! Our food came out very quickly even though they were very busy. We try and eat here every time we’re in Fredonia or passing through which isn’t often enough. Fredonia is lucky to have a restaurant like this! Rick, if you ever want to move please come to Wichita and open a restaurant here!
