I came in for brunch and there was no wait. Gigi was my server and she was amazing!! Super kind, helpful and happy :) I ordered the French toast and WOW - loved every bite. The menu had some really great options and with some flavors that are different which sets this place apart from others. I got a cup of coffee which was also very good and a key lime tarte ! Everything was amazing and I relaxed here for about two hours. Gigi ensured I was always having everything I needed and keeping my water and coffee filled . The food runner was a male with dark hair , didn’t catch his name but he was also very kind and attentive. I can’t wait to return when I come to Chicago again and I will recommend to friends. Thanks again!

The BEST croissant sandwich I've ever had! Latte was delicious and reasonably priced. The food was a bit pricey but expected for the location downtown and how nice the place is. Front room is a glass cafe this is bright and beautiful. I went for breakfast but haven't tried the dinner. I glanced in the main dining room and it does look beautiful!

I've gone here a few times and always had a pleasant experience at the cage, the drinks are amazing and I love the food options ! The pastries are great too. The inside is so beautiful with top to ceiling windows. It's absolutely gorgeous. Seats are first come first serve so keep that in mind ! The baristas are so friendly and fun and the food presentation and silverware is great. It just makes me feel good to visit, I get to be fancy for a little bit. The lattes have great latte art and all the food options are very healthy. It is a bit pricy but for the experience I don't mind.

Came here Sunday for lunch and unfortunately it was raining so we were unable to sit outside. The cafe is super cute but if you walk in farther the restaurant is nice, has a classy vibe to it, and dim lit.

Food was good—enjoyed the Duck Liver Mousse, Banh Mi Hash, Toulouse and especially the Duck & Waffles (my favorite dish)! We were not a fan of the Ratatouille Pasta, it was unappealing and not tasty. Our cocktails were fine with the exception that my Vodka Cranberry & Soda tasted flat, but they remade it with no issues.

Service was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Venteux for brunch! Nice decor, good service, delicious food, and an unbeatable bottomless mimosas deal! Just $20! The duck and waffle was perfect! I will definitively return! ☺️

Highly recommend. From the food to the service for the price, cost a lil less than the higher end places but the quality is right up there if not higher. Our server Shanell was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list and was a pleasure to have. She recommended the steak tartar which was excellent, along with the oysters and whole dry aged duck. We don't usually do dessert but it was our anniversary, so we tried the souffle which was really good but they also brought out another dessert that my girl describes the taste like "a campfire by the ocean" , it was creamy and smokey, they call it chocolate & rye, you should definitely try. We can't wait to go back.

The old fashion and chocolate & rye dessert were the highlights of the night.

We ordered the duck and it came with crepes and various toppings and sauces. The combination of flavors were very experimental and fun to pair the duck with different things.
The duck breast was cooked perfectly. The duck leg was a bit over cooked and the skin was a bit dry/burnt.

The crepes were soft and velvety, and it went very well with the duck.

The creamy spinach was amazing, and butternut squash was good, but the nutty and fall flavor was overpowered by the cream cheese.

We made a reservation and waited about 15-20 minutes when the table was ready for us. The service was relatively slow and we had to wait separately for all the dishes to arrive, and the food turned cold when we were ready to eat.

We came here for coffee one afternoon in October, have not had any experience with the restaurant part. The cafe side was a beautiful environment, the aesthetics are lovely. Only 3 stars because the lattes and pastry we got were average tasting. Nothing special. It's a lovely environment though, good for snapping pics.

We had the pleasure of eating: Croque Monsieur, Eggs 5 Ways, Frites, and Ratatouille Pasta.
For the Croque Monsieur I highly recommend adding the Madame. It really brings the flavor out. The amount of food is more on the side of what you normally get at a resturant.
The Eggs 5 Way was a creamy delight and the sausages (not shown) were a perfect combination.
The Ratatouille was very rich in flavor and was a very nrestaurant.
The Frites or fries had a nice amount of salt and the two sauces complimented them well.
Overall the staff was friendly and were ontop of their refills.

Beautiful decor and the booth was very comfortable. Staff was attentive but the food could have been seasoned a bit more... my burger was bland and the side of fries was meh. I did enjoy my cappuccino.

Almost 5 stars. Oyster bar with a french twist. The food has interesting and unusual flavors. We ordered a number of small plates. My favorite was the "Egg 5 ways" which was kind of an omelette, but with strong flavors and very creamy. The souffle dessert was the best, as one person described it - it's like eating a cloud. The service was great, our waiter was fun and informative, very knowledgeable about the menu. Would recommend this place and will certainly come back.

Really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Venteux. We've been looking forward to visiting since they opened in May. The food was very good and representative of French cuisine. The chef also puts a very upgraded and interesting flare on many of the classic French dishes.

The service was also extraordinary. Their wine list is quite good for the per-glass price. Overall, we do plan on coming back.
