I feel their level of quality has slipped backwards. They seem to no longer serve coleslaw with their dinners and I do not see sides on their menu board. The seasoning seems to have slipped on their ribs. Entirely to much sauce on the ribs. I do not know if I am being fair that has just been the last two times I have visited.

It was okay just not something I would get again . If your ever looking for turkey tips go to Just Turkey on 87th it’s worth your money . This was garbage compared to Just Turkey

I could eat here every day of the week. The food and service are consistently excellent. Parking is easy. They are open every day of the week. Who could ask for anything more? It's just everything you desire in a barbecue restaurant.
Did I mention that the food is delicious? It is!

Got the rib tips with mild sauce. Sauce on the side is extra, I read (sign on partition). Staff moved quickly making wait time low. Also read, no call-in orders for they want to keep everything fresh. Prices are fine. Very few sides. The rib tips? Pretty tasty.

Man that was a disappointment, they didn't have what I wanted then I settled for what the woman recommended which was rib tips. I didn't know they come with bones hence why they're called "tips" says it comes with corn bread, fries and slaw. Got one slice of white bread from a dollar loaf and no slaw, finall found the 5 french fries under the food soggy and wet. Literally one mouthful of edible food.

We're talking fast food Barbecue here. There's only take-out at this restaurant.The lobby needs a little work done I'm sure of. But I believe they rent this space, so that would actually be a responsiblity of the owner of the building(At least I think their renting).So let's talk about the food. The ribs are delicious....... PERIOD!. The meat is tender and juicy. Plus, the sauce on the meat is tasty as well. Service is fast and courteous, and the portions are a nice size also. And hopefully they will continue to serve nice portions to us..........Hopefully. Overall you'll be fine eating ribs from Uncle John's. And your gonna enjoy them too.????????????

I visited Uncle John’s today in hopes of a good meal. Instead the Rib Tips were very tough and the Hot Links were dry. Truly I wasn’t satisfied. Food Costs to much to waste.

First time and will be my last. Paid $11 for a small tip, portion size did not match the price. Nearly ever tip was burnt. I give it one star because I liked the sauce.

Fathers Day took my son to eat we ordered large order of tips he lives in in 134 Ave O .te food was not done gotcorder less than 5 minutes .I called the manager was ruder and told me to bring back seriously .I won't be order any more and it will be calling better business .Anybody knows you can't cook pork in 5 minutes.
I would like to talk to someone who understands and not tell me they are busy and not address the situation.

Now I love this BBQ the jerk ribs are the best but when I say lately I have had about 6 fries with a bunch of meat now I know some people may like this but I would like an equal amount of fries with my meat. I hate to open my food in public so I’m always hoping that I have enough fries. Please be more fair with the fries. We need a whole meal not a tray full of meat. The sauce is amazing they should sell it.

I would give them a good rating but im never going back in there again due to the distasteful display of Attitude the only male black cook in there took with a sweet old lady who just purchased $50+ worth of food because she ask if she could sample a tiny piece of jerk chicken to determine if she would start adding it to her order. he Could have just said no but he was so visibility perturbed and irate by the mere question it made absolutely no sense

The last few times I went there the food wasn't good I ask for specific things and when I get home to eat the food wasn't right. I ask for tender meat, no ends, no burnt meat. I had meat that wasn't tender, ends and when I order ribs mostly 1/2 was bones. I complained and told the cashier she said you should have bought it back, and we have no control over the ribs. That's not true because when they are cutting the rib bones you can tell what has meat on the bones and what don't. I am not going back for a while because I spend lots of money when I go there and my food should be RIGHT. You should not have to take nothing back after a hard days work, and it being hot outside.

I always order a jumbo large rib tip and it's very tasty. My go to meal at the end of a bad week. Favorite rib place. The lines are always long and they could have more workers back there if I'm being honest

Great local BBQ spot. The food is CONSISTENTLY good. They are pretty fast, the customer service is good and their sauce is delicious. Their turkey tips are phenomenal. I usually get the (mild) sauce on the food, but sometime I get it on the side (costs a little extra) just to taste the meat. It has a great smokey flavor so its enjoyable with or without sauce. All orders come with fries. Definitely worth a visit.
