Good price for AYCE and it’s BYOB but sushi enthusiasts BEWARE: the rolls become rice-heavy if you order more than 1 round of sushi (see pic for dynamite roll). Nigiri is usually better quality for dinner than lunch from my experience. $50 and some change for 2 AYCE dinners

Loved this casual Japanese place with Hyde Park vibe. All you eat sushi was delicious and my husband and daughter enjoyed their entrees as well. Would definitely return! And recommend!

I love coming here for the all you can eat sushi. Always delicious and affordable. Sometimes the wait is a little long, so it is best to come early.

They have an all-you-can-eat sushi menu that's actually really good, and their a la carte options are solid too. I've lived in Hyde park only a few weeks and I've already been multiple times.

Great sushi, especially with their all you can eat for lunch (super reasonable pricing). Not the biggest indoor space though so make sure you call in advance for a big group or be prepared to wait!

Horrible customer service! I ordered a boba tea that was not to my liking and the waitress refused to exchange the drink for a different flavor. She also refused to refund me the money for the boba tea that I did not drink. The customer service here is quite lacking and I will not be supporting or returning to this restaurant.

My kids got the all you can eat sushi, which is a good deal as long as you clean your plate! Otherwise they charge you for the uneaten portions in addition to the all-you-can-eat fee.
I got the crazy Maki sushi rolls, and it was very tasty. They didn’t offer brown rice as an option, which I like. The soy sauce was in a little pre-poured plastic dishes.
This is a busy place pushing out an affordable set of sushi and a range of Japanese food options in basic surroundings.
The bathrooms are not handicap accessible, if that matters.

I used to live in that area, I don't now but I would drive back for their dishes and the low prices. Now they have increased prices. I paid $7.50 for soft shell crab appetizer now is almost $10. Sushi roll also increased by $2. With gas prices on top of that I just have to find somewhere closer. Food is great and I love Hyde Park.

Best place for ayce sushi in the area. The sushi is tasty enough for the price, if you can eat 5-6 rolls by yourself then it's def worth it! Dinner menu has better rolls that lunch, hence the price difference. I do agree with some other reviewers that the more times you order the slower you receive your food. Lastly, the restaurant looks very clean and tidy but the bathrooms really turned me off, and reflect poorly on their cleaning standards. With that said I did finishing eating ayce sushi and I will def be back the next time I'm craving affordable sushi.

I went for AYCE lunch sushi. It's definitely a good price and nice service given that I went alone. Definitely order sushi over rolls as I think some rolls are filled and rice and tempura batter so please avoid such rolls. Appetizers have a good spread but I think dinner option might be better. Would recommend if you're in the are and really hungry for some sushi rice

My fiancé and I went here for a second time to try the ramen out. The waitresses were so helpful when helping us decide which ramen to try. We got the spicy ramen with shrimp instead of pork belly. We also got a roll of California maki in case the ramen wasn’t filling enough, but the ramen was so filling and tasty we could barely finish the sushi. I highly recommend this place. It’s a cute little spot in Hyde park. Perfect for a little date night.

With $15 for lunch and $21 for dinner buffet with lots of options, it seems that this place was a reasonable choice for a sushi craving, that is all I could say. However, you get what you pay for is quite right here. I had both lunch and dinner here, and it was safe to say that the dinner was much better, apparently, not only because of much more choice of nigiri, maki, and rolls but the quality of the food itself.

For the appetizer, we had the fresh tofu in cold tomato sauce, which was terrible. The Yasai Salad that has mayo and sesame oil as the dressing was pretty yummy. Miso Soup, which was the same as anywhere else, made from package powder have a generous amount of seaweed and tofu. The time we came for lunch, the salmon we got was not fresh, dried, and firm. The sushi rice was, ridiculously, sweet like soaking in syrup, just not sticky. I was not sure if the taste came from rice vinegar or something else. The good thing is the rice amount in nigiri was not excessive as the fish cut covered the rice almost wholly, but the rolls were made with an abundant amount of rice than they should have. Thus, the rolls were hit or miss. The wasabi that we also had for lunch was previously made and kept for days as its dark green color explicitly stated so. The service is quick and excellent, though.

Besides, the fantastic sashimi was only available for supper. If I would ever come here again, I probably should just come for dinner.
