Pizza is my favorite food. That being said I am VERY picky when trying different places to get a good pie, ESPECIALLY in Chicago. Gotta say, I stopped by Pizzeria Ora for lunch recently, met the owner Walid who was so gracious and kind, and had a great meal. This visit I had the lunch special (great value) a 9" thin crust sausage and mushroom pizza. The sauce was out of this world, the crust was crispy and I could tell how fresh the ingredients were. Cooked to perfection. With the lunch special I had a garden salad (you can also have soup) with ranch dressing, very crisp and tasty! I also notice small details when I dined in, the parmesan cheese was brought to my table straight from a refrigerator when the food arrived. It hadn't been sitting out all day! Even though I didn't partake in any alcoholic beverages, I could tell the bar was fully stocked and looked like a fun place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Stopped by Chicago for a vacation and I had to find a place to try out the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I was very happy I choose this pizzeria. The pizza tasted really good and it was a perfect size for me to eat. Would recommend eating here if you want a really good deep dish pizza.

This place surprised me. What kind of legitimate restaurant serves both American breakfast and Chicago pizza? We went there for breakfast and had great service, perfect eggs, and excellent French toast - all for a reasonable price. Now I wish we had gone there instead for pizza too.

Update!! It's still amazing
I just love this place! We come every time we are in town. It's very casual and feels much more like a neighborhood place than the more popular pizza spots in the area.
I have had Lou Malnatis, Giordano's, Uno, and Gino's. Ora beats them all. I think what sets them apart is the sauce it's so fresh and flavorful. The dough is always perfectly cooked, and the cheese and toppings are delicious. The staff is always very friendly and attentive.

We stayed in the hotel connected to the restaurant so we tried our first Chicago deep dish pizza here. It was yummy and we actually split the small cheese pizza with 3 people since the slices were very thick. We also ordered a side house salad which was very large and was shared between two people. My youngest ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and said it was yummy. We had a very nice waiter that kept our drinks filled at all times.

Pizza is excellent, we’ve had the thin crust and the deep dish, love them both. The owner and staff are really nice. Come here every time we’re in Chicago.

Hands down probably the best pizza I've had in my life. I could have just ate the crust and been happy. Bartender was great he took time to explain some must see things for a first timer to Chicago. Awesome place....

This place is incredible….it’s clean & the server is friendly, courteous and professional. But the best pat of it all is the food…I had the small deep dish and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic deep dish pizza, probably the best in town. Friendly and attentive service, which is not a given in the deep dish industry. Love the atmosphere, if I'm ever in Chicago again, will return for sure!

Great deep dish. Ordered a 9" deep dish and was perfect for 2 people. Great fresh flavor from all ingredients. Desserts were also amazing. Order was completed on time and the staff was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our experience here. The restaurant is clean and has nice decor. The service was very good. The deep dish hit all the right notes and a medium was the perfect size for my family of four (two school aged kids). Prices were very reasonable.

Went in with moderate expectations. Left with an amazing mouth experience. Wow! Very quality pizza packing a lot of flavor. If Dave hasn't come here, he should and should rate it a an easy minimum 8. It's a 10 in my book. ????????

We went to a concert in the area and were looking for a place for a late night pizza and happened upon Pizzeria Ora. My sister convinced me to get out of my comfort zone and try a pizza I normally wouldn't eat, so we got the El Blanco pizza. I'm glad she talked me into it because it was delicious! The guy who served us was very nice. I will visit again if I'm in the area!

5 stars for service and the pizza--4 stars because the crust is modeled after Home Run Inn and when I brought it up to the owner he acted like he never heard of Home Run Inn (I find that impossible!)
Haven't had deep dish
since I was young (I grew up in Chicago) btw non-Chicagoans it's just called pizza not "Chicago style" Anyways as far as authentic deep dish you will be PLEASED and the BEST part? The sweet sauce tastes SO FRESH! I'm a chef too and WOW was really impressed because most food I eat in Michigan can't get anything fresh and this really blew me away! Wanted to introduce my Lansing, MI native husband to REAL Chicago deep dish and you did NOT disappoint

You will leave full. The Mac n Cheese bites and Chicken tenders appetizers were great! The deep dish sausage and green olives traditional Chicago style pizza was served to our table hot and the slices plated at the table. The pizza ingredients tasted fresh. The prices were very affordable. May want to make a reservation if deciding to dine in during peak hours.

Incredible!!! So, so happy we discovered this place. What a gem. The sweetest staff in the city, a clean, peaceful atmosphere and DELICIOUS food. The deep dish pizza was exceedingly satisfying. I can’t recommend this place enough! Definitely stop in for a wonderful experience. Thank you, Pizzeria Ora!!

Place wasn't too bad. We got here a little before lunch on a Friday (11:20) so there was only one person working. Service started kinda slow. We walked in when th a group of 6 and right behind us was a couple and then another single diner.
It did take a while to get our menus/drinks/food/etc. But i don't not fault the single person working. He did his absolute best and was very friendly and as attentive as possible.
Food wasn't bad. We ordered deep dish (takes 30 min) and kids thin crust. In both cases the crust tasted like something frozen. Like something you'd buy at the store and make at home but a bit better. Ok not that bad though you get the idea. If you're staying at the attached Best Western it's a great option to dine at.

Family dinner here was so perfect! The staff gave us a huge table, never stopped refilling water and drinks all evening. The salad was fresh and crisp and dressings tasted homemade. We enjoyed deep dish pizza and thin pizza. The fresh tomato sauce is unlike any other pizza in town. Sausage pizza was a standout and worth mentioning!!! I was shocked we had room for dessert…. Mousse pie, cheesecake, and ice cream. Everybody loved the meal. Would go back in a heartbeat!!!!
