Love Michaels! Their pizza and wings are always delicious. Best Buffalo sauce in the city! We were in tonight and Ivonne gave great service. We’ve been many times and will definitely be back!

When it comes to authentic pizzerias, this is one you should not pass up. Located in a great little neighborhood, Micheal's offers a wonderful feelgood atmosphere where you and your family can come and enjoy some amazing pizza, wings, cold beers and plenty more.

I have to say there deep dish pizza was fabulous, my first experience with the lovely texture of there crust and the expertly balanced sauce and filling done to perfection not to much dough just enough filling with smartly touch of sauce. Thank you for the wonderful pizza and service.

Pizza was ok, but reasonably priced. Drink selection is typical for a spot bar. Waiter tried it's best, but the music was too loud to easily make order. Probably, should have tried buffalo wings instead.

Solid cheezy beef and tots. Def a solid beefwhich contender in Chicago. The first time I got an IB with cheese (not bad at all). Haven’t tried the pizza yet but will definitely be back. They have some great daily specials, a huge patio (they’re dog friendly) and a stocked bar. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area!

Absolutely amazing!! Randomly found this place after searching online for good pizza places to hit up and it didn't disappoint. The Chicago style pizza was unreal and absolutely loaded with cheese and toppings. Cheap beer too! We went on a Wednesday and the special was Goose Island pints for $4.25. Without a special, they are around $5-6, which is a lot cheaper than other bars. Definitely come here if you're in the area or fancy a trip away from the city centre.

Michael’s is our favorite spot in our neighborhood. There’s a reason they’ve been around for over 20 years. The service is amazing. Everytime we go there the staff is incredibly friendly- even when they are slammed. (Shout out to Rueben especially!) It’s called Michael’s pizza, so, yes they have great pizza for sure. However, their other options are not to be overlooked. My personal favorite is the Buffalo chicken wrap. It’s delicious- and at under $7 it’s a steal. I order that to-go on a weekly basis since we’ve moved into our new condo. Lastly, and my favorite thing about Michael’s is how dog friendly their patio is. They bring your dog water and you can order a side of chicken just for your little bud. My dog LOVES Michael’s. If Michael’s is not already on your pup patio list for summer, add it now! And if you don’t have a dog, still a must visit in Buena Park, trust me.

I ordered a small thin crust pizza with ground beef and banana peppers. I was told the wait would be 35mins and my food was ready when I arrived. I even got a 1 liter drink included with my purchase. The pizza was really good but I give a 4 cuz it could have a bit more flavor. Overall I would return!

Best place in Uptown, Buena Park neighborhood for cheap beers while watching sports.

Went here during a football game and this place was lively. Cheering everywhere.
Enjoyed the beer with Buffalo wings, tater tots, thin crust vegetable pizza.

Michael's is a neighborhood (Buena Park) institution. Real Chicagoans know that the best pizza in the city is found in neighborhood joints like this, not the big chains. I love their deep dish and prefer eat it there. It's served in the traditional, beat-up metal pan of deliciousness. Wings and Italian beefs are also good. The crust on the the thin crust can be a bit dry sometimes, but overall solid.

We called and ordered ahead. This was to save time, since we had to travel an hour to get here. Not every pizza place allows this, so it was really appreciated. The deep dish pizza was hot and perfect!!! The buttery crust had an ever so slight burnt edge with a bit of caramelized flavor.
The waiter had the pie on our table, before I could get my jacket off. The wait staff were on point, tag teaming the entire meal. I couldn't get halfway on my drink before someone offered a refill.
In addition to the pizza, we tried their nachos. It was piled high with ground beef, tomatoes, cheese, and jalapeños. I apologize ahead of time on the pictures. The food was so fast on the table, and looked and tasted so good, I forgot to take the photos until we were half done. It was that good!!!
The only points that have to be noted was the tight neighborhood parking and the single occupancy bathrooms for a popular establishment. That aside, a wonderful evening with great food and a fantastic team of servers. A definite plan to come back!!!

I seated myself ate one of Michael's outdoor tables on a weekday afternoon during lunchtime service. I was the only person among the tables on the restaurant's north side, but no one came out. After 5-plus minutes, I decided rather than getting up and going into the restaurant, I would call and let someone know I was sitting outside. The guy who answered at first didn't understand that I was trying to politely communicate this simple fact; he turned out to be my waiter, arriving at my table a minute or so later and admonishing me for not alerting him by getting up and coming into the restaurant. Every one of the few encounters we had after that, which included delivery of my order, were short and perfunctory. To top it off, he took FOREVER to bring my check, making me consider making another phone call to get that taken care of.
I've been a fan of this restaurant, and this is my first experience with bad service. Was I wrong to make that phone call? Did I make it worse by sitting outside, alone, and not running up a big tab? Did my waiter have to be such a complete pr*ck about it? The great service I've received every other time I've come here is the reason I come back.
Mitigating factor: Michael's serves among the best Buffalo wings you'll find in Chicago.

Pizza is very good, though the hand tossed (supposedly regular thickness) is thin crust but it is fresh and tasty. So make sure you order double dough to get regular hand-tossed thickness.
Chicken and wings are also good. Friendly service and cozy in door setting.

Live a little bit further North, but have walked past Michael’s for years. Finally decided to try their pizza. Ordered Michael’s Special Pizza 18” thin crispy crust and Buffalo Wings. Delivered hot at the specific time. PRETTY DAMN GOOD thin crust. Sauce was a bit sweet. Ditto on the Buffalo Wings. Wish they had a little more extensive menu. Will definitely order again. Will have to try the meatball sandwich. Website is EASIER to order online than other sites.

The holy grail of tavern style pizza. My #1 pizza and pizzeria in the entire country. I constantly introduce people to it and they’re hooked. This place is the bee’s knees. Oh and the other food is good too! They have expanded now also with a party room for your party needs or when they need more tables. Best place for Brews, pizza and sports with their friendly atmosphere and 500 TVs
