I was amazed by the variety and options in the display! There are so many unique flavors available, and each cake and cupcake is so beautifully decorated. I got the tiramisu and ube chocolate. The cupcake was moist and soft, and I did not find it too overwhelmingly sweet. The cream on top was light and airy, and complemented the cake well. I am excited to return and try the other flavors :)

Jennivee's has, by far, the most delicious cupcakes I have ever eaten. The taste delivers just enough sweetness, without being overly sweet. The cupcakes have a rich taste, without being heavy. They offer a good variety of flavors, both traditional and nontraditional. Every item they offer is beautifully created. They have whole cakes in store for immediate purchase, or they may be ordered ahead of time. They are open late, after 10:00pm, which is great for a late night treat.

I got cupcakes through an app called Too Good To Go today. It's an app to get old food from places to eliminate food waste. The food is usually not super fresh which is expected. But the cupcakes I got which were obviously left over from Easter were very flavorless. Flavour doesn't disappear with age. The cake was dense and dry (may have been bc old which is fair). The frosting however had virtually no flavor and the consistency was similar to a stable whipped cream which is that fake whipped cream some coffee shops use that has a bad mouthfeel.
One of the reasons I use the app is to try food in my neighborhood because if the old food is decent then the fresh has to be good. I won't be trying this bakery's fresh food anytime soon.

Cute bakery to visit when you come to Chicago. My friends and I picked out 4 cupcakes to go and we chose: Mango, Ube, Hazelnut, and Tres Leches. All of the cupcakes weren't overly sweet and they stayed moist. I love that this bakery serves Filipino flavors as well. Definitely recommend coming to Jennivee's if you're in the area!

Interesting flavors for their cupcakes. I'm more into basic kinds, but I got the boston cream pie and it was tasty. I'll be back to try some of their cake slices.
Edit: Updated stars from 4 to 5. I have been back here like 6 times and have tried many more cupcake flavors. All of them so good! The carrot cake one is amazing.

This business is a scam. They try to hype up their popular cake slices online and actually when you arrive, they say they can’t cut any cake and you have to buy the whole cake for $70. “I’m not cutting any cakes” from the staff who was super rude and didn’t care. He had a very bad attitude. So I went with the cupcakes, but unfortunately he had to pack my cakes next to each other without a holder so they smash into each other. It’s a horrible place with many fake marketing scam. I’ll not return again. Also the cupcakes taste very chemical and they’re obviously using the store bought artificial flavoring instead of real ingredients.

We love Jennivee! Best baked goods and coolest staff. A bakery that opens late and closes late, which is genius because most bakeries have banker's hours. Favorites are purple velvet, mango and hummingbird ????

Based on a recommendation from our wedding photographer, without ever having visited the bakery, we ordered our cake from Jennivee’s — sight unseen. To our surprise and delight, it was absolutely the best wedding cake we’ve ever seen or tasted.
Gabby was so incredibly responsive and helpful with our order, including a special request for a white cake board (vs the standard silver). They got every detail right, the price was competitive, the delivery was on time, and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. I can’t recommend Jennivee’s enough.
PS - we are, now, also big fans of their cupcakes and cake slices. The signature ube and cookies and cream flavors are our favorite!

I cannot recommend Jennivee's enough for any and all cakes, cupcakes, and desserts! I have been a long-time customer and just recently had a custom cake ordered for my mom's birthday. Jennivee's knocked it out of the park with this beautiful, succulent-inspired cake! It tasted amazing and looked almost too beautiful to eat. I always enjoy my experience with their employees and will continue to be a loyal customer!
