It was our first time dining here at Del Frisco's, and our experience was outstanding! We tried this restaurant for my birthday dinner. We were kinda hesitant at first because we hate driving around the Galleria area. Our server, Chase, was very nice and attentive. Food was superb. We ordered the crispy fried lobster for appetizer and the 22 oz Prime New York Strip. Sides were also excellent. We had the Butter Cake for dessert, and that really hits the spot. We would definitely come back to dine here!

I visited here for my friends birthday dinner while on vacation. We had reservations however we had to wait for our designated table. Our server was really nice and attentive however the food was okay. They had a different chicken dish on the menu however I had to get a different dish because the menu just changed that day. The best part of the dish was the potatoes and green verde sauce. The chicken was alright. It wasn’t that seasoned and I wish it had more char. The asparagus was as expected.

This is a tough post for me because the service (provided by Christopher) was really good. The server was courteous and personable. The low review is because the food frankly was not prepared properly. At high end steak houses I normally order rare steaks as they show how tender the meat actually is. My fillet medallions had no pink in them. The server did offer to replace the dish but I was dinning with my boss and did not want to wait and cause an issue. The flavor of the dish was fine and presentation was fine. The server corrected the issue by offering a free dessert. Just think a steakhouse at this price point could properly prepare a steak.

I really enjoyed my dinner at del friscos everything we ordered was very fresh and flavorful and Chase Ditt and Ethan did a wonderful job making sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend making a reservation and asking for Chase he is one of the best.
The tomahawk was outstanding and my favorite side was the lobster Mac and creamed corn.
Nothing like finishing off with some butter cake and banana bread pudding. Excellent service food and ambiance here at the galleria Houston.
Once again can’t recommend chase enough!! Thanks guys

Best filet mignon I’ve ever had! The restaurant itself is very stunning, the huge windows add a dramatic flair. Great place for date night. It is two stories so be prepared to climb the grand staircase (or take the elevator in the back). We loved everything we tried and can’t wait to go back.

Our server, Adrian, was patient and professional. I enjoyed that he shared his personal favorites and what he suggest would best pair with customer likes. The pacing was perfect and the food was sent out to perfection. You can tell this is a well “oiled” machine as far as service, preparation, and satisfaction. Ask for Adrian. He will ensure you a lovely time! Thank you for not letting us down. Our server could tell what we desired the most. (He is the one with a most stylish hair cut!)

Our date turned out better than we expected. The food was on point. I just wish the burrata was more creamy inside but it was still as good. The ladies knew how to put a smile in our faces as we were stepping in.

#1 you need to order is the burger , so far has been the number #1 burger I had. In the world and I have eaten burgers in about 15 different countries and probably 250 restaurants in the USA in my life time and this took the cake !
Second get the lobster ???? Mac and cheese ???? to die for
Third the lobster ???? I got a 16oz be ready to pay $130 for that other wise burger is well priced and very accesible
And last please try their cocktails they are amazing and delicious. Highly recommend and next time I fly to Huston I am ordering that burger ???? Yummy

You are missing out on an experience if you have not been here yet. The experience and expertise of the food is phenomenal. Our waiter Edmando, we had him for our anniversary and again when we came the last time. He remembered us and what we ate the previous time. He was so attentive to what we needed and gave great recommendations to our first time guests we brought along.
We always order steaks here and crab cakes. Their crab cakes are amazing. The VIP pineapple infused martini is oohhh the perfect blend.
I have tried the lobster bisque and it’s wonderful. Cream spinach and cream corn is a top favorite for us as well.

Del Frisco's is a beautiful establishment that I chose to make reservations at based on the food images alone; the Tomahawk sold us. The ambiance is amazing with dim lights throughout that gave Del Frisco's a very intimate setting. Our reservations were for six and due to significant Christmas traffic we ended up being 20 minutes late; that was no issue and we were still given our reserved seats on the second floor. The second floor adds to the experience as the view is fantastic. I noticed an upstairs, outdoor area, but it was closed off, probably seasonal, but I would be interested in that experience as well.
My wife and I ordered the Tomahawk for two; it was a magnificent specimen and very filling. The chef cooked it masterfully as requested; medium rare, bright red, warm interior. For sides we ordered the lobster macaroni and cheese and asparagus. The Mac and cheese was so rich and creamy and the asparagus had pistachios that gave it a unique taste.
We also ordered tuna tartar for starters; it was excellent. Banana bread pudding for dessert which was also good.
The only downside were the drinks. I got the VIP cocktail which tasted great and had a frothy vibe, but I could taste zero alcohol, so depending on your intent, you might select another drink.
Overall I was very happy with the restaurant and highly recommend it.
