It was really good. Fried ribs chicken was seasoned well. The greens was flavorful and cheesy mac and cheese. I look forward to going back soon. Only downside was it was a little bit of a line when we got there but moved fast and not a huge area for dining in which is first come first serve. But food trumps that.

In town visiting and decided to try out Trick Daddy’s restaurant. It was 4 of us so we tried a variety of things. Not really a sit in spot but we did take one of the tables to sit down and eat. Very clean inside and the workers were very nice. It did get crowed but everyone was chill.

As for the food the portions were great and on point. Between us we had pork chops, Cornish hen, catfish, yams, Mac n cheese and fries. The Cornish hen was great! Loved the pork chops but maybe add a little more seasoning but I did devour them. Catfish was also tasty. The only thing I didn’t like were the fries. Not really good and kinda cold when they came out. That Lemonade in the Shade was OMG so good.

Trick has done a great job though. No complaints. I was surprised by the cleanliness so he cares and it’s a hood establishment. More of a take out spot. I definitely recommend and will come again when I’m town.

Definitely go try it!!!

Have been waiting a long time to visit this restaurant. Everytime we come through the line as been out the door. Now I understand why and it was well worth the wait. The food is cooked to order. This is soul food at it's best. Finger licking I must say. Reminds me of Sunday dinner at my grandmothers house. The restaurant is clean, nice music playing and order takers was pleasant. I love that they check your order before giving it to you. The deserts are delicious.

Try the Blue Velvet Cake! OMG! I’m a baker too! I know great cake- this cake was amazing! The proteins (Catfish, Turkey wings and fried ribs) was awesome. The sides wasn’t giving for me, the yellow rice tasted like box rice mix, the yams tasted like canned yams with a bunch of sugar, corn muffin had too much honey, and the greens… I had better. If you don’t mind waiting for about 45 minutes you’ll appreciate the wait. The service was great! And the Blue lemonade was great.

Trick Daddy's Restaurant: Closed on Tuesday's. It opens up at 11:00, and gets crowded by 11:30. The parking lot is small, and seating is very limited. I saw one table for 6, and one table for 4. They have long cushioned benches on each opposites of the restaurant so you can sit, and wait for your food. It is more of a take out spot, than anything. I never had Fried Ribs before, so I definitely had to try it; Amazing! It was seasoned well, and fried just right. It comes with rice, and you have three types of rice to choose from. I recommend the Shrimp Rice. It also comes with corn bread. You get one side with your dinner meal. The Turkey Wings is also a good choice as well. The meat is tender, and falls off the bone. Overall, a nice spot for soulfood. I would recommend it!

I decided to take a drive from St. Cloud to Miami as a date day with my husband. We said let's try "Trick Daddy's" Sunday's Eatery while in town. This place was jam packed with people waiting for orders or trying to find a parking spot. It took over 40 minutes to get our order. They ran out of ice for our blue lemonade. We ordered the fried snapper with rice and peas and candied yams for my husband and I ordered fried pork chops with Mac n cheese and rice and peas. They came with a cornbread muffin and my husband also ordered a banana pudding dessert. I can honestly say the best part of the entire meal was the dessert and the blue lemonade. The food was underwhelming and not any soul in the soul food at all. Trick was also in the building but was too busy on his cell phone to be bothered. I can say I'm glad I tried it but probably won't go back again sad to say. Not to mention social distancing is impossible at this place. I actually placed my order and went back to my vehicle since it was wall to wall people and majority unmasked in a small space.

While waiting to make our way to the Bahamas we made a stop by a Florida staple. The eatery was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We grabbed a bunch of different meals to try. The Cornish hen, fried ribs, chicken wings, shrimp, Spanish rice, green beans, corn, cake and lemonade. The thing that stood out the most was Cornish Hen and the thing that was a bit underwhelming was fried ribs. Overall the food was on point and the Partner/Manager and his assistant were excellent host.

First time going to Trick's restaurant. The food was really good. I had the fried ribs. They were really good...kind of tasted like pork chops. Perfect seasoning. The wings were very good also. To wash it all down, I had the blue lemonade...tasted really good and perfectly sweetened.
I do recommend going early in the day. We got there just after 6pm and the only sides left were string beans, corn and fries and there was no baked chicken nor turkey wings. It is also best to call ahead to avoid some of the wait.
I will definitely return when I come back to town.
