3 stars because the food was delicious (with an exception for the peach pie) but the service was below average which ruined the overall experience.
The hosts should leave their attitude at home and a smile would be nice too!
After waiting a while, someone came to take our drink order and then our waiter finally made an appearance to… get our drink order. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and smoked fish dip which took more than 20 minutes to come. Both were very good though. Both fish were delicious. We then waited another 15 minutes (at least) to finally get someone’s attention to ask for the dessert menus. Our waiter had disappeared. We should have just stopped with the fish… the peach pie was really disappointing. Don’t bother with the scoop of vanilla ice cream… it’s the tiniest thing you’ve ever seen.

This place always has the freshest seafood. The Uni with the bread toast is fabulous. I really enjoy the Oster selection. The beer and wine menu was not posted so enjoy.

Very relaxing atmosphere. I like the open concept of the dining area- high ceiling, visible kitchen, view of the outside. Great food. You cannot go wrong with any of their cocktail drinks. Excellent mixology. We had a feast of oysters last night. Myself and 2 companions went through 4 dozen oysters we selected from the choices they offered that night. And you can really tell the difference between the different oysters and where they came from. While waiting for our order we enjoyed an order of fried calamari for appetizer.

Johnathan "Johnny" provides first class service. He and his staff are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of the food is always outstanding and the variety of specialty drinks is impressive. Try the "Niña, Piña, Santa Maria" - it is absolutely delicious and will make you rethink your opinion of Mezcal. Five Stars without hesitation!

A really nice, casual, and great tasting seafood dinner in West Hollywood. It’s a really welcoming and casual setting with an open kitchen, something I really enjoy because you can watch the kitchen operate, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Our server Danny did a terrific job, was very polite, and helped with a few menu decisions. Parking in this area can be a pain, but I was able to find parking on SMB right out front for a 7PM Saturday dinner.
For my starter I chose the Chowder Sampler which was comprised of 3 smaller portions of New England, Manhattan, and Rhode Island Chowder. It was nice being able to have all three and honestly I’m not even sure if I have had the Rhode Island type before. For my entree I chose a fish of the day the Alaskan Halibut with herb oil. It was perfectly cooked and the herb oil sauce was very tasty with lots of garlic and something I would order again. For my side I chose the Mac n Cheese and it was one of the better ones I have had in a very long time. I loved the crispy top and mixing it with the cheesy bottom.
Overall a really nice meal in a casual setting. I would recommend to any fan of seafood.

They have a good wine list with many reasonably priced Italian options, but I brought my own wine.
My friend and I had a ton of dishes. Everything was well prepared and tasty. No complaints at all.
First we tried the special appetizer. Chicken livers and gizzards in a hearty, creamy sauce. Not for everyone, but we loved it.
Next we had the fresh sardines. Really simple, but fantastic. Just so fresh and clean.

I’m not into sports bar-type of establishments - I prefer something more upscale. This place has great food but lacks class and comfort. The service staff could really use some training. The whole place has a very cafeteria-like vibe. Though I have to say, the grilled fish we had was excellent and so was the grilled calamari.
