Literally the best sushis I've eaten in my life - and I went to a lot of very nice sushi places in LA an NY!
The fish is so fresh, the rice is perfect and servers are very nice and accommodating. They take very seriously any allergy you might have, and will make sure you spend an amazing time there! 10/10 recommend!

Arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday, I was quickly sit down at the bar. I ordered the $35 preselected menu (which is the intermediate size of the 3 preselected choices), plus a beer. The amount of food was just right. The fish was fresh and tasted great. Service was great too. The only thing made this a 4 star review was that the rice pad (sushi meshi) was too loose. In order to pick the sushi up as a whole piece, I had to squeeze each sushi rice pad a bit tight. (Have been using chopsticks my whole life, so it is not my chopstick skills)

Yeah, this spot was stellar. Expensive, but fair for the quality of food they are serving. Service is excellent and the wait isn’t bad at all to get in. All fish is super high quality and prepared deliciously.
Rice is on another level. Lots of use of the ponzu sauce, which I’m very partial to. They provide 5 or more course options for food. Very great.

I went to a SUGARFISH in New York and was craving sushi when I was in LA so decided to stop by here. This SUGARFISH did not disappoint. Relatively affordable omakase with quick service, great interiors, and fresh fish. would definitely recommend!

Didn’t earn my free birthday Trust Me this year so had to come by on my birthday and make sure I earn one for next year :)
Sushi quality and service are always so consistent at SUGARFISH, which is one of the reasons why we keep coming back. Loved every dish!
Was pleasantly surprised that this location didn’t have a wait and person at the door was really great and even brought a chair for my mom while we waited for my GF to catch up to us. Will keep coming back and hope for only good surprises.

Good service. Good food. Terrible COVID protocols if you dine in.
Got my birthday sushi.
TIP: If you eat here and “check in” twice a year then you can get sushi for your birthday! Make sure you ask server or host how to “check in”

This is, without question, the best sushi restaurant I have ever visited. The tenets of nozawa style sushi as described on the menu absolutely ring true. The fish was phenomenal in texture and flavor - the salmon melted in my mouth like butter! The sake was also a great deal. My friend and I each had a Trust Me - I agree with the staff recommendation to have at least one of these. The entire meal was filling and an extremely fair price for a mini-omakase experience.

The Nozawa Trust Me coursed meal at the DTLA location.
The Daily Special of Bluefin Otoro was a delight but the whole coursed meal was filling, fresh, and delicious.
Friendly and courteous service and the food arrived in a well paced manner.

The sushi here is great! We went for dineLA but I ended up just getting their “Trust Me” menu. I also ordered the uni and the anago (eel) separately. They were good! You can tell that the quality of the fish was good, and that the ingredients were fresh. Just be mindful that your whole party has to be present to be seated, and that parking is always a little difficult in dtla. Overall, it was a great experience. The ambience and lighting were nice, the servers were all super friendly, and they checked up on us often.
