Really tasty food. Only came for dinner but would totally come for a messy night with drinks. All outside in a fun converted garage setting.

This was a good meal! Not pictured are the quac, the coctel de camarones, and the beverages which were all really good, but don’t let them upsell you on the tortillas with the camarones, not worth the $5. The steak taco was truly impressive, delicious flavor and texture. I was underwhelmed by the pollo taco. My friend had the vegetable tacos which seemed tasty!

Amazing tacos in Frog town! Some of the best tacos I have had in LA. The chip, salsa and guacamole is ok… maybe not worth the $16 price. I liked the homemade salsa. The guacamole came with sunflower seed, interesting, and didn’t have that much of a distinctive flavor. Chip were homemade. The tacos are where it’s at! Chicken and pork were my favs. These were reasonably priced at $4-5 and very filling. Two for lunch were plenty but we squeezed in a third, steak, and rolled home, lol. All the seating is outside and the layout is very spacious with a cool desert vibe. Lunch dining is hot. And I mean HOT. I feel for the workers. We were sweating and were in the shade! Management should consider a simple water misting system (assuming it is possible with water restrictions) at least for their workers.

One of the best Italian restaurants I ate at in LA. The venue is intimate with a stunning terrace lined with some seriously rubbery curtains (think blade runner 2049).

Expansive food and wine menu - the service was a little slow but it was mega busy so all is forgiven.

The food was mind expanding and I will definitely be back - DO NOT MISS!

THE taco spot in Los Angeles.

I saw Chef Esdras Ochoa on Netflix's Final Plate where he was called the Taco King of LA. It was at that moment, that I knew I have to go there.

Parking is on the side street and a bit hard to find during the peak hours, so have a little bit of patience. Oh, have your reservation done online before going to the store.

Upon getting in, you can order some drinks from the bar before the server directs you to your table. Get the chips and guac for an appetizer and then go to town.

I loved the Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos, a must try when you get here. Better get a horchata, too.

I highly recommend this for anyone who is living in or visiting Los Angeles.

Great food, good service, but my car was broken into while I was dining so I took off two stars for that. The restaurant needs to hire security to safeguard their customers.

So good. Machaca Quesadilla with some corn... As good as it gets. And the cocktails are just wild. They set the bar very high.

Salazar is one of those types of restaurants that you really only find in Southern California. Totally outside, slight hipster feel, delicious food and a vibe you just can’t replicate anywhere else. We started off with the elotes and then had a quesadilla and tacos for our main. All were just amazingly good. It would be a 5 star place if it wasn’t for the fact it was almost pitch black where we were seated (I get it’s a vibe - but this was way too dark) and even though we had a reservation 30 minutes prior to close we were seated at close and our server was really rushing, then disappeared completely, then we got another server who was annoyed to have an additional table. All that aside we would come back in a heartbeat!

Had the Al Pastor tacos, chip and guacamole for an app and The Valcano cocktail and it was great. The ambiance here is amazing, friendly staff, big and small tables for your party. Place gets busy so make sure to get a reservation, also parking will take a few minutes to find but not to hard.
