This place is overrated! I got the chicken & waffles and my husband got a 3 piece dark. His chicken was fried so hard that he couldn't even eat it. The coleslaw was salty. I expected a Belgian waffle and crispy floured chicken not a flat waffle and chicken strips coated with breadcrumbs and no seasoning! The Mac & Cheese was cool though...

The customer service was subpar and the food too. We waited a long time for our food. Ppl behind us were already eating theirs. She forgot our drinks and I had to get up again to those after I was told they would bring everything. They are serious about the cleansing of hands!

From customer service to the food being the best meal I've had since I came to California it's definitely my top choice!! Roscoe's chicken and waffles @ 106 w. Manchester is by far the best at everything.

You can't come to L.A. and not stop here! That's blasphemy!!! This is one of the iconic spots around where u must eat at! But prepare for a wait since the pandemic other than that pure joygasm!!!

Let me say this....they tried it ????♀️ we waited 35mins then the chicken legs were bloody so they made us a new order, to go since everyone was done eating. Got back to the hotel & the new order wasn't cooked all the way either. We drove from San Diego to be disappointed. Overall it wasn't worth the hype. I've had WAY better food @ The Home Of Chicken & Waffles in Oakland.

This food was to die for!! The chicken was moist and delicious! The waffles were cook perfect! Put those two together you can’t go wrong. It was the best chicken and waffles I have ever had in my life! Thank you to Monica ( sorry if I got you name wrong) for get service. Wonderful atmosphere and people.

This place was giving with their food! Place was clean, well organized with the sanitizer on the wall with the menu bar that you can scan as well. I was seated and within 3 minutes the waitress was there to take my order. My food came out within five minutes after my tea which was delicious may I add. The place was small and in the “ hood” but well worth the drive from Yucca Valley ( I’m here working). The waitress was very attentive. The food was to die for. By the way I had the Obama: the chicken was crispy, fried just right and the waffle was soft and fluffy with a hint of maybe cinnamon. They also had their own hot sauce! What a great touch.

This is a southern California staple of chicken and waffle. I enjoy the delicious food and find myself craving there juicy chicken dishes. Due to limited parking you do have to scramble parking space. You will wait to be seat due to covid restrictions. The taste of the food has been consistent for so long its amazing. The portions are not big as in the past. However, you can't substitute quality for quantity. I always look forward to enjoy something different from the menu or stick to my Carol C. go to dish.

Best waffles ever! I’m usually not too big of a fan of waffles but I loved these!
I also really like the brand of apple juice they used. The chicken was tasty but my favorite thing was the waffle; I made sure to finish it even though I was full.
The building is older as I think it was the original one but clean. Good service and it didn’t take too long to get the food. Wish I lived in Cali to eat this waffle more regularly.
