This was by far the best Cuban sandwich and empanadas I’ve ever had! The empanadas were fried fresh to order. I’ve been to so many authentic places that had them already made and in a hot box. Nothing against that, but these are next level. The seasoning was on-point and I couldn’t even make it home before finishing the empanadas. The chicken and spinach & cheese were FIRE. I could only eat half of the cuban before I got full and it’s like I have a present waiting in the fridge for me for dinner. It kept hot all the way until I got home and had a nice crunch when my teeth perforated the crust. Everything about the experience was A+. Natalie, one of the owners, took my order and she was so sweet and gave me patience with my indecisiveness lol! Her husband was making magic happen in the kitchen. Go eat here!!

Let me tell you why I think this place is worth your time:
- first off, the food is delicious and the portions are perfect. Generous on the maduros and the meat.
- family recipes with unique twists. Pork is slow cooked for 6 hours and is super juicy.
- friendly owner (Noel) who takes the time to give recommendations / ask for critique.
- street parking available on nearby neighborhood streets.
- fairly priced all things considered.
Don’t believe all the bad reviews… people love to complain about nothing.

Best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in LA so far!
Bread is toasted to perfection and the meat is beyond juicy + packed with flavor.
Little cup of beans was also very yummy and the perfect side.
Highly recommend to any Cuban food lovers and also for anyone that’s new to trying the cuisine. Easy way to jump right in as the menu is clear and simple.
Note : this place is a tiny (but cute) order at the counter spot with couple cafe tables out front , so best for a quick bite or to go

Also shoutout to the owner , super friendly dude with good vibes.
I look forward to trying everything else the Made In Havana menu offers!

We got our first order with Uber Eats. The Cuban bowl was good, but the beans were still pretty hard. Those black beans need a lot of cooking! The side dish of beans is very skimpy for the price. Make it a little bigger guys. The bread of the Cuban sandwich wasn't crispy enough. The yucca fries haven't been available per the owners , so we ordered the potato waffles. Bit over seasoned and greasy. Although the prices are on the high side , we will give it a second chance.

This place is fantastic! Owners are amazing and so friendly. Food is amazing. Philly bowl with hot Cuban coffee sweetened is my go to, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu it seems.

Got delivery from here. The food was packed very well. The Cubano sandwich was outstanding. However the Ham Croquettes were gross. The inside of the croquettes tasted like minced meat and I didn't see any ham. The black beans that come with the sandwich was tasty

Oh my goodness! Best Cuban sandwich in LA by far. Maybe the best I've ever had including Miami. The pulled pork is perfect. The ham couldn't be better. The mustard and all the other ingredients are perfect. Real Cuban bread toasted to perfection! It came with a little side of beans and I couldn't get enough of those either.
Update. I'm eating my way through the whole menu. The Philly Cuban was incredible! I just had a sandwich that was so good I forgot it's name. I think it might be the jamon with croquette. Their Cuban Cafe con leche is perfect also.
Another update. As I predicted I'm eating my way through the whole menu. The chicken sandwich was one of the most flavorful chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The onions are caramelized to perfection. I've also tried the tostones now and they are the best I've ever had. Better than my Cuban friend makes at home better than the ones I make at home! So much flavor I didn't think I needed the extra sauce that I got until I tried it. Amazing dipping sauce.

Loved this meal! The yucca fries were soooo perfect. Salty and crispy and almost buttery. Devoured my bowl before I could take a picture. The chicken was really juicy and delicious. Mike is eating the empanada now and yelled “oh my god.” I have to go so he doesn’t eat both.
